RED NOSE DAY – FRIDAY 15th MARCH 2013 Netherton J+I School council arranged a ‘Wacky hair day’ to raise money for Comic Relief. Each child donated £1 to come to school with their own original hairstyle!! 2 children from each key stage were put forward for a chance of winning a prize of an Easter egg and winners were chosen by the Acting Head Teacher and School Secretary. Money was also raised by bringing in pennies and 2 pence pieces to cover a large red nose.
