Roll carts into the street and place them against the curb, with the handles facing your home. Place carts at least three feet away from other carts and objects. “Pay as You Throw” Standard Service includes one 95- gallon cart for Trash and one 95-gallon cart for Recycling. Bulky Item CollectionResidents receive up to three (3) free bulky item pick-ups per year. Please contact Waste Management Customer Service at least 48 hours in advance of your regular service day to schedule a bulky item pick-up, or schedule one online at home.wm.com/ridgecrest. Acceptable items include: furniture, appliances, tires, mattresses and electronics.

Non-acceptable items include: hazardous waste; machinery and industrial discards; oil, grease and other liquids; construction and demolition debris orexcessively large items. Please no cardboard boxes or bags of trash.

Sharps Home DeliveryResidents can safely dispose of needles, lancets and other sharps from home using Waste Management’s Sharps Mail Back Program. Contact Waste Management Customer Service at (760) 463-6024 for your FREE container and it will be delivered right to your door. Once the Sharps kit is full, mail it back using the pre-paid postage label. A second kit is available, upon request, for a $5 co-pay.
