Cribbing and Matting Co. Pty Ltd was founded to bring customers in Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia superior industrial strength stabilising products and matting solutions. Cribbing and Matting Co. specialises in Cribbing and Matting. We fill a gap in the market, as most firms only sell these products as “add ons” to whatever else they may be selling. Cribbing and Matting is what we do, so at Cribbing and Matting Co. our name says it all.

The majority of our diverse product portfolio is manufactured by Turtle Plastics located in the USA. Turtle Plastics has earned the reputation of being at the forefront of recycled plastic technology. For in excess of 30 years, Turtle Plastics has manufactured premium products used in the rescue, mining, construction, rail, marine, transport and defence industries. Cribbing and Matting Co. is the only authorised stocking distributor of the Turtle Plastics product portfolio in the Australian, New Zealand and South East Asia region.

dura crib ® cribbing blocks optimise safety when stabilising heavy loads after they have been lifted for maintenance and access.

dura crib ® plastic blocking systems o�er more stable, longer lasting and easily cleaned alternates to wood blocks. They have an aggressive patterned slip resistant pyramid locking surface for stable cribbing, chocking, bracing and shoring.

dura stat ® plastic blocking systems o�er the same advantages, but are designed for a single layer to allow loads or products to be easily picked up. It is similar in its surface to wood, without the splinters!

dura stat ® products are available in profiles of 50mm x 50mm up to 300mm x 400mm and in lengths of 3600mm.

Unlike wood, dura crib ® and dura stat ® plastic products o�er a stable, predictable and high load bearing capacity which ultimately deforms only slowly under extreme load. Safety is a major driver in the switch away from old fashioned wooden blocks, which audibly crack under high loads. Also, environmental issues and the simple economics of paying a little more for a dura crib ® and dura stat ® plastic product with a 50 year warranty* are other strong incentives for change.

Excellent for four point and 9 point cribbing stacks ranging in stack load capacity between 58,800kgs and 132,000kg. The dura crib prime crib is an excellent alternative to timber dunnage and blocks used in jacking and stabilising task. The dura crib prime cribbing block is certi�ed load rated with a working load limit of 60.8kg/cm2 with a maximum working load capacity *58,800kg. wedge stability

As almost every cribbing situation involves uneven surfaces, use wedges to stabilise crib stacks when necessary. Wedges are used to fill the gap between the stacked cribbing and the structure, product or vehicle being secured. Wedges should be similar width as the cribbing block or stack. By using wedges almost any gap can quickly be filled to create a safer working environment.
