7 Upper age limit is further relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBCcandidates with respect to posts reserved for them. Upper age is relaxable by10 years for Physically Challenged candidates, Cumulative age relaxation isavailable for those Physically Challenged candidates who belong to SC/ST/OBC category. Ex-servicemen will be granted age relaxation as per Govt.Directives.

8 The OBC candidates who belong to "CREAMY LAYER" are not entitled for OBCconcession and such candidates have to indicate their category as "General".The OBC certificate should have been i ssued recently.

10 Candidature of a candidate is liable to be rejected at any stage of the recruitmentprocess or after recruitment or joining, if any information provided by thecandidate is found to be false or is not found in conformity with eligibilitycriteria mentioned in the advertisement. Bhilai Steel Plant reserves the right toreject the applications and no communication in this regard will be made withthe applicants.

11 Bringing influence at any stage of the selection process will disqualify thecandidate.

12 SAIL/BSP reserves the right to raise the minimum eligibility standards and / orrelax age, criteria in otherwise suitable cases. The Management reserves theright to fill or not to fill all or any of the above positions without assigning anyreason whatsoever. In case large no. of applications are received, shortlistingwill be done. Mere fulfilling of the elibility criteria will not entitle the applicantto be considered for the selection process.

13 Candidates must ensure that they possess the required Physical Standard.Candidates will have to produce a medical certificate issued by RegisteredMedical Practitioner / Government Doctor certifying the required PhysicalStandard at the time of interview. Also, if selected, they will have to undergoregular medical examination and satisfy the medical standards of Bhilai SteelPlant before joining.

14 The prescribed qualification / experience are the minimum and mere possessionof the same does not entitle a candidate for written test/interview. SAIL / BSP'sdecision shall be final in this regard.

15 Selected candidates shall also be required to serve in any of the mines ownedby Bhilai Steel Plant for which the candidates will be required to submit anaffidavit at the time of interview, if any.
