This is a Job Description of Researchers in International Business Unit, Kolkata.

International Business Unit (IBU)
British American Tobacco (BAT) the worlds second largest tobacco company. IMRB IBUhas leveraged its tobacco
research expertise in providing research and consultancy for BAT companies around the world. In the last three
years, IBUhas conducted research for BAT in all continents in over 60 countries across the world such as Malaysia,
Australia, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, South Africa, Nigeria, Turkey, Canada, Brazil, Argentina, Spain, France, Germany,
Netherlands, Switzerland, Romania, Russia, Ukraine. To service the BAT business, IBUhas placed researchers from
its office in London, Kuala Lumpur, Seoul, Tokyo and Amsterdam. IBUs role in such projects is to develop the
proposal, the research design and questionnaire, processing the data, conduct the analysis and work out the final
presentation. Fieldwork is locally organized.
IBU works together with BAT headquarters in London, to develop new & innovative research methodologies;
conduct experimental projects; initiate improvements in existing research methodologies.

Interacting with the Field in different countries
Briefing Analytics about the data processing requirements
Analyzing the data
Writing the Report or the Presentation
