About the Institute:
NATIONAL INSTITUTE FOR FOOD TECHNOLOGY AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP
MANAGEMENT (NIFTEM) is being set up as apex world class institute of globalstandards in Food Science & Technology. It is an autonomous Institution
under the aegis of MOFPI which is conceptualized to operate as a
powerhouse of global knowledge economy for the food processing sector.
The Institute will cater to the needs of entrepreneurs, industry, exporters,
policy makers, the government and the existing institutions in the area of
Food Processing sector. The Institute shall nurture and promote synergybetween teaching and research to ensure creation of a quality Institute.
NIFTEM proposes to establish research and education base far beyond theFood Technology realm encompassing an entire ecosystem around related
disciplines.
The ` 600 Crore, NIFTEM project located in a 100 Acre sprawling Campus
located in Kundli, Dist. Sonepat, Haryana houses a multi level 5,650 Sqmt
state -of- the- art Central Library and flawlessly equipped teaching &
research laboratories in 9,500Sqm, auditorium, Seminar halls and Class
rooms . Ultra modern computing facilities will be extended with a high
bandwidth, high speed network. Entire Campus will be wi-fi enabled with
Videoconferencing facilitating virtual classrooms and webinars.
The Campus will have residential apartments for faculty and staff,
neighborhood facilities- Bank, Post Office, Shopping Center, Food Courts etc
and Recreation facilities- Gymnasium, Health Club, amphitheatre etc.

Additional Information:

The Institute has the right to set different as well as higher norms,while short listing, taking into accounts the requirements. Merefulfillment of qualification requirements does not entitle candidate tobe called for interview.
The Institute reserves the right to fill or not fill any or all the posts
advertised. The Institute reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates for
interview to a reasonable limit on the basis of qualifications and
experience higher than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement
and other academic achievements.
The invitation to candidate for interview merely indicates that it is felt
that he/she with others may be suitable for the post and conveys no
assurance whatsoever that he/she will be recommended or selected or
his/her conditions specified in the application will be accepted.
The Institute reserves the right to screen and call only such candidatesas are found Prima facie suitable for being considered by the Selection
Committee. Thus, just fulfilling the prescribed conditions would not
entitle one to be called for interview.
No correspondence whatsoever will be entertained from candidates
regarding reason for not being called for interview / outcome of
interview.
Candidates called for personal interview will not be paid any TA.
