Recruiting for Vice President of DevelopmentF UL L T IME, C A MBR IDGE, M A

The Veritas Forum is a fast-growing, strategic ministry that partners with Christian thought leaders, professors and student fellowships to support the intellectual credibility of Christianity in the university and broader public sphere.

The ministry’s core initiative, Veritas Forums, is a series of high-profile university programs that engage students and faculty from a range of worldviews in discussions about life’s hardest questions and the relevance of Jesus Christ to those questions. The Veritas Forum also publishes thought-provoking content for broader audiences and provides a unique platform for leading Christian academics and innovators to become public intellectuals. The first Veritas Forum took place at Harvard in 1992, and today nearly 140 universities across the United States, Canada, Europe and Asia host Forums, engaging over 36,000 students, faculty and university community members annually.

Veritas is also in the midst of a season of significant expansion and innovation. We aspire to scale to over 300 leading universities globally with the proven Veritas Forum model. We are also launching new initiatives including: • Veritas Cities: designed to engage young professionals in urban centers with the Veritas Forum model, in partnership with local churches and other ministries. • Veritas Voice: investing in much more expansive fit-for-purpose online content to engage students, young professionals, and the broader public sphere. • Veritas Labs: to design and test new initiatives that further the presence of Christian thought and formation across university life.

Veritas’ fundraising is also growing rapidly, with total income more than doubling from $900k in 2011-12 to $2.3M in 2015-16, driven by an expanding donor-base, high donor retention and a strategic mission that increasingly resonates with our partners.

In short, this is an excellent time for an experienced development leader to continue to build and lead the Veritas development team to the next stage of growth and impact.
