• 9.5 million UK adults have a high interest in cricket
• 12 million UK adults have a moderate interest in cricket
• Among ABC1 males*, only football, formula one and tennis are more likely to be cited as their favourite sport.
• Among 16-25 year olds, only football and formula one score higher
• Cricket’s following is disproportionately young and male, with ABC1 males most heavily over-represented. This, in terms of spending power, is good news for the game.
