The Mansfield City Schools Board of Education met in regular session on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at 5:30

The Mansfield City Schools District Board of Education hereby gives public notice in accordance with

Section 3307.353 of the Ohio Revised Code that Mary Jo Lux will be retired and seeking re-employment

with the Mansfield City Schools District in the same position following her service retirement.

The Board of Education will hold a public meeting on the issue of re-employing the above-named person at

a meeting to be held on August 15, 2017 at 5:30 p.m. at the regular Board of Education Meeting ,

WHEREAS, the Mansfield City Schools certifies our records commission met in an open meeting, as required by Section 121.22 of the ORC, and approved the schedules for retaining District records; and NOW, THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED the Mansfield City Schools Board of Education certifies our commission will make every effort to prevent these records series from being destroyed, transferred, or otherwise disposed of in violation of these schedules and no record will be knowingly disposed of which pertains to any pending legal case, claim, action, or request.

Superintendent’s Report:

Mr. Garverick presented copies of the summer newsletter that will be going out to the entire Mansfield City Schools community. Mr. Gibbs produced an informative and interesting newsletter that showcases our students and staff members along with providing back to school information and a colorful school calendar.

Treasurer’s Report:

Sheri Gombosch reviewed the monthly financial reports that were submitted by Mr. Kuehnle to the board 17 – 82 Resolution to approve the Treasurer’s financial reports and board minutes

The following gifts have been donated to the district:

$700.00 donation from the Russell and Mary Gimbel Foundation to be applied to the Construction

Zone project at Springmill STEM Elementary

for the 2017-2018 school year.
