1. It was clarified that ‘free of cost material’ supplied, if any, by the owners shall not be included in

the cost of completed qualifying work(s) for determining eligibility of contractor for opening of

their financial bids.

2. On demand of soft copy of tender drawings, it was clarified that the pdf copy of tender drawings

could be made available by the Architects (M/s C P Kukreaja Architects), only to those

interested, but in their own soft storage media.

3. In regards to para 11.1 on page-65 of Document-I, even though it was informed that

a. Ground water table was around 12.00 mtr depth at the time of investigations during

Feb-March 2016, however the same is seasonal and variable.

b. Soil strata did mostly comprise of combination of sand, silt, pebbles and clay. No hard

rocky or bouldery strata was encountered.

Yet those interested in copy of soil investigation report, the soft copy of the same could be

made available only to those interested but in their own soft storage media.

4. The indicative drawings of UPVC windows showing overall sizes with openable / fixed / sliding panel

requirements are enclosed herewith (3 PDF files). However, contractor shall submit fabrication shop

drawings for approval of client / architect prior to commencement of work.

5. It was clarified during the meeting that the contractor shall obtain necessary approval from the

Mines Department of the UP State for excavation of basement and disposal of excavated earth to

approved dumping site before going ahead with excavation work. However, the fee, if any levied by

the state government shall be reimbursed to contractor against submission of original documents.

All expenditures related to coordination and liasioning in this regard shall be borne by the

contractor.

6. It is hereby clarified that it is the responsibility of contractor to get concrete mix of required grade

designed at his own cost from a laboratory as may be approved by Engineer-in-charge. For getting

the same done, contractor to inform in writing immediately within seven days from the issue of

letter of acceptance of contract, the source of materials including brand of cement and admixtures

and location of cement plant. The sampling of materials from the source shall be done in presence

of Engineer-in-charge for getting the concrete mix designed as aforesaid.

7. It is hereby clarified that on promulgation of any other statutory law (including GST) which may

impact the taxes and levies upwardly or downwardly, appropriate reimbursement/ recovery due to

such statute shall be done, as the case may be, as per spirit of contract and the statutory law, which

shall be on submission of the original vouchers of payment by the contractor.

• Required to – Read entire tender document thoroughly and appropriately include all

incidentals in the quoted rates for completion of work. – All information related to eligibility specified in ‘Notice Inviting Tender’

is to be furnished diligently – Identify the 1/ 2/ 3 qualifying works completed during last seven years

and – Attach the ‘Performance Reports from owner/ client’ for completed

qualifying works – Financial turnover has to include only construction works and got

certified by Chartered Accountant appropriately – Calculation Sheet for Bidding Capacity to be attached separately other

than the proforma – Important Features of Contract/ Tender are avalable in APPENDIX

available at Page 33 of Tender.

Associate Contractors (Annex-II on Page 29 & 30)
