• Increasing Intel Capacity– In Embassies and other Dip. Posts– In US RE: Mexico– In Canada– Increasing available visas and using interviews as a

source of Intel??

• Need to figure out who we can trust– Need to develop a mech/tool for scoring

various aspects of Mexican state and update weekly

• Guest worker / tourist and other temp visitor programs are a win-win for Canada and Mexico for many reasons

• Need to prepare for potential crises– Refugees– Race Relations– Crime– Public Health– Banking and Financial System Stability– Will engage Provinces, Local Governments

and Private Sector in this planning were relevant

• Can it happen here?– Must work to improve efficiency of law

enforcement and fine tune our public safety frame work to ensure drug culture does not take hold here.
