I have had the pleasure of knowing and working with Daniel for the past year. He is our lead Teaching Assistant for our large principles of marketing classes. These classes have a semester enrollment of about 1500 students. Daniel and 3 other TAs assist 4 professors with these classes. Their assistance includes creating, proctoring and grading exams. In addition, they meet with and counsel students about their progress in the classes. Daniel earned the position of lead TA by showing his attention to detail and leadership skills. Daniel quickly became the TA that each of the professors trusted – particularly with time-sensitive issues. Daniel is hard-working, intelligent, and a genuinely nice guy. He is trustworthy and cares about our undergraduate students, his masters student peers and the professors that he works for. As you can see from his other application materials, Daniel is a very good student. His experiences in and out of the classroom in the MS Marketing program at Texas A&M have prepared him well for success after program completion. I sincerely believe that Daniel will continue to be successful. He has the right attitude, work ethic and personality to be a good fit in most organizations. Feel free to contact me at [email protected] or 979-845-1067 if you need additional information. Sincerely, Janet Turner Parish, Ph.D. Clinical Professor Assistant Department Head Director of Professional Selling Initiative Mays Teaching Fellow
