Mrs. Colleen Graffte, 2016-2017 Teacher of the Year. Mrs. Cindy Stiltner was awarded the Pro- ject Unify grant for Special Olympics. Mrs. Amanda Beck and Mrs. Amy Case received the Target field trip grant provid- ing funding for all of 3rd grade to partici- pate in the Edventure Children’s Museum education program. Mrs. Kay Ross received the Palmetto Pride grant to refurbish the student flower garden. The School Improvement Council strives to support the school through interactions between

school and home/parents, to offer information regarding current needs/strengths/weakness of

the school as a whole, to survey parents about how to improve existing conditions, to keep par-

ents informed of current budget and legislative issues, and to support the PTA in current en-

deavors.
