Welcome to Sunset on this day that the Lord has made. Whether member or guest, we are glad you are here!
This past Friday night we had our annual Elders / Ministers Retreat and this year had the deacons as guests for our Friday night meal. This is always an exciting time of planning and praying as we look forward
to another year of service in this community and around the world. Pray for our elders as they work on the budget and lay plans for our future work here at Sunset.
Last Sunday we were blessed to welcome Kim and Barb Turley to our church family! We also welcomed Kory Stucki and her pre-school daughter, Willow to Sunset. Kory is the daughter of Barb and Kim. Then we witnessed the baptism of Zach Brown. He is part of our college group and had been studying with Shaun for some time. We are thrilled to have these new folks as part of the family. Welcome them as you have opportunity.
Your response to the “Pack the Pantry” was incredible! The pantry is now full- to- overflowing which should allow us to generously meet the needs of the hungry who call on Sunset during the holiday period. “I was hungry and you gave me something to eat” can be said of all of you who responded so graciously to this appeal.
We had an extra-large crowd last Sunday and are excited to see our numbers increasing! Be sure to invite a friend next Sunday!!

YOUTH ACTIVITIES
Dear Sunset, Hosting the Area Wide Youth Night is one of the highlights of the year for our youth. I want to express how significant your attendance and support was. It meant everything! Your blessing and encouragement go hand in hand with our youth’s active service in church family here and its ministries. Thank you for the support and encouragement you showed to our youth on this night. I’ve heard from many of you concerning the good things you see God doing in the lives of our young people and I am blessed just to be a part of it. Please share these good things and encourage our youth as we help each other grow in the Lord. To God be the glory! In Him,
Chris & Amanda
