ARE THERE ANY POTENTIAL HAZARDS THAT COULD

POSE A HEALTH AND SAFETY RISK WHERE YOUR

FILMING WILL TAKE PLACE (TRAILING

CABLES/TRAFFIC/OTHER OBJECTS )?

Due to my thoughts to film outdoors, I do need to consider

traffic, however, I have told my actors to be natural, yes I will

be filming, but I want my product to be naturalistic therefore

my target audience will connect with my characters more.

Therefore they can see for themselves the safety aspect of it

as I plan to have them both just walking into the distance and

being in love. I need to consider whilst filming, not to get into

anybody's way, and be aware of my surroundings. I plan to

go to Durham to film the outside shots on the riverside walk

so it is scenic, therefore I need to be careful of the water and

tell my actors to also be aware.

WILL THE TIME OF DAY/WEATHER AFFECT THE

OUTCOME OF THE FILMING? HAVE YOU ALLOWED

FOR THIS?

Yes, as it is winter time it gets dark earlier this is a minor

issue I need to consider however if I give my actors a lot of

notice about the dates I am wanting to film them this should

be fine as I could set off early in order to get my filming done

in time for this. Also I have decided to check the weather

often, as this would be a major issue if it began to rain as the

camera quality wouldn’t be up to great standard therefore I

may have to refilm on different days, however I could always

do the inside (home) shots I plan to do if this issue occurs.

DO YOU NEED PERMISSION TO FILM IN THE

PLACE/VENUE YOU HAVE IN MIND?

I plan to film in Durham on a walk way by the riverside, and

the other shots I have planned are from my actors home, I

asked my actress (Shannon) if it would be okay if we could

film and she was fine with it, as we are quite close. Aside

from that I didn’t need any other permission to film anywhere

else that I have planned to use in my product.

ARE YOU RELIANT ON LIFTS/PROPS/FRIENDS’

EQUIPMENT/MODELS? HOW HAVE YOU PLANNED THAT

THESE THINGS WILL COME TOGETHER AT THE APPOINTED

TIME? PLAN B?

Yes, I am reliant on a few of these factors:

Lifts: as I am wanting to film in Durham I will be needing a lift

from my Mam to get the actors and myself to the location and

back … firstly I have decided to organise it with my actors

when they can do the filming… as they are current university

students it is quite hard to get them when they are both

together.

Friends: I need to organise when both of my actors can make

my filming sessions as they do have other commitments and

my Mam does work a lot of the time so I need to be organised

and give them plenty notice of when I am wanting to film and

I may need to consider adding more dates to film if I cant get

everything done in one day with my actors.

ARE OTHER PEOPLE/CROWDS LIKELY TO BE AN

ISSUE FOR YOU? WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO

ENSURE THAT IT WILL NOT SPOIL THE EFFECT?

This could be an issue for the outside shots, however I am

wanting to take a naturalistic approach for my product so it

isn't that much of a major issue, if crowds are talking as they

pass that is fine as I don’t need a good soundscape as all

sound will be muted in my clips as the music track will be

playing over the top of it.
