Usually a moist cloth is sufficient to remove cooking spills, washing-up liquid can be added to get rid of grease. Stubborn marks can be removed with an specialist organic solvent cleaning product such as methylated spirit or alcohol (always read the manufacturer's instructions). Never use wire scourers, brushes or abrasive cleaners. ** When installing, all cuts that expose the core material and any joints must be sealed against moisture ingress. All laminated worktop surfaces can be heat damaged or scratched. This damage cannot normally be repaired and is not covered by our guarantee, therefore it should be avoided by: Using a heat protective mat or a worktop saver. Hot items should never be placed directly on the surface. Always use a cutting board. Never chop or cut directly on the surface. *Gloss and dark coloured worktop surfaces show scratches more than light Matt and Textured surfaces.
