At College Pro we offer a two-year warranty that protects your home against issues, like blistering and peeling. If any such concerns do arise within that time, call our office and

we will arrange for the work to be corrected.

Our Story

Franchisee Jenny LyonsJenny Lyons was born and raised in the Steveston area. Jenny has been

with College Pro for four years, starting as a painter in 2012. During her first year, she saw the value of staying with the company and her

coach, in order to gain experience in the business world, as well as to share her love for helping and

coaching others. Her passion lies in meeting people and coaching

employees to continually learn and improve themselves

Franchisee Kit HulbertKit Hulbert is from the South Surrey area and is a UBC Sauder graduate with a degree in Finance. Kit has been with College Pro for seven

years now. He cares deeply about the customer and employee experience

and wants to see College Pro Richmond become a place where the services and job positions are highly recommended to friends and family.

Franchisee Zahra Sundarani Zahra Sundarani was raised in

Richmond, specifically in Steveston. Zahra has been with College Pro for

three years, starting as a franchisee in 2013. She has been an active member of the Richmond community all her life and finds it hard to not give the

best service she can to the people she has known since her childhood.

Administrative Assistant Jaki Eisman

Jaki Eisman finds working at College Pro to be an amazing experience. Three

aspects of the company stand out in particular. Firstly, it is a truly

collaborative effort. Everyone on the team gives their all, from the door-to-

door cold callers to the franchise managers. Secondly, the franchise

managers are passionate, enthusiastic and wholly open. They respect the

1. How do your prices compare to other paint companies? We are competitive with other contractors – not the highest or the lowest. We aim to deliver

quality work, with the appropriate materials and a safe environment for our employees.

2. Do you have workers’ compensation and liability insurances? You bet! We are certified with Work Safe BC, and have $2,000,000 in liability insurance.

3. How do I know your students will produce a paint job that will last? Students make excellent painters. To be an excellent painter, one has to be a hard-worker,

physically fit and detail-orientated. Who better to embody these traits than students? That said, it is a common misunderstanding that ALL of College Pro's painters are students. About 50% of our crew are employed by us year round — in other words, professional painters. This blending of

students and professionals results in a well-balanced and supportive team environment. Many of our painters return to work with us year after year!

All new hires go through a rigorous two-week training to get them job ready. Once painting begins, there is always an on-site crew leader overseeing that things go smoothly. We also provide

our employees with WCB and Liability so we know they are protected. Our consistently high recommendation rate is proof enough that our painters not only achieve, but also exceed, the

College Pro standard.
