Keynote: GMOs in Our Food Today Dr. Michael McNeill & Dr. Donald Huber area 2In their Keynote address, Dr. Michael McNeill and Dr. Donald Huber will explain the devastation brought upon us by choices made in the agriculture community. Glyphosate and the pervasiveness of GMOs is affecting everyone in America- not only organic and non-organic farmers but also gardeners and the general public. Try to keep an open mind as they present to you their astounding evidence.

Nourishing Traditions: a Farmers’ Call to Action Sally Fallon area 2Restoring health in America starts with farmers. Sally will explain more about why consumers are now demanding higher food quality and how farmers can start answering this imperative call to action.

Nourishing Traditions: Importance of Infant Nutrition Sally Fallon area 2Sally will detail the necessity for ditching low-fat and low-cholesterol diets which have been marketed to us for several decades in support of traditional diets containing animal fats, organ meats, sprouted grains, legumes and enzyme rich foods. The dangers of modern soy-based foods, especially infant formulas, will also be discussed as well as more reliable ways to build a healthy foundation for your family.

How Lack of Minerals Affects Today’s Human Health Dr. Richard Olree area 3Dr. Olree discusses the mineralization of the human brain and the importance of minerals to our cerebral spinal fluid, immune system, and mental health.

Reproduction, Uterine Care & Calf Rearing Dr. Paul Detloff area 4Successful dairy farming starts with successful calf rearing. Dr. Paul will give you a greater understanding of animal reproductive systems and the importance having a dry cow in optimal condition in order to birth a healthy calf. He will further explain how water and forage affect both the quality and supply of mother’s milk, a vital component of raising a calf to its full potential.

Organic Veterinary Care Dr. Paul Dettloff area 4Dr. Paul examines methods of organic veterinary care which do not rely on antibiotics, horomones or synthetic chemicals. His in-depth explanation of how to support the 11 systems of an animal using a holistic approach will help you regain control of your herd’s health and be your own practitioner. You will leave with a better understanding of which organic tools to use in order to control diseases, viruses and deficiencies.

Understanding your Soil Samples Mark Fulford area 3Mark will examine the roles of various minerals contributing to an overall organic, healthy cropping system. He also discusses how these minerals are carried through plants, animals and humans. Learn how to interpret your soil sample and what you can do to bring more minerals to your soil.

Where is Disease Rooted?• processed “foods” that the body doesn’t recognize• low-fat diets• low-cholesterol diets

• high sugar intake

What’s the Link Between Real Food & Real Health? Learn...• why your body needs old-fashioned animal fats• why butter is a health food• how high-cholesterol diets promote good health• how saturated fats help to protect the heart• why high-fiber, low-fat diets can cause vitamin and mineral

deficiencies

What we have experienced over the last 80 years is the oiling of America. There has been a decline in the use of animal fats like butter and lard alongside a huge increase in the use of shortenings, margarine and various liquid vegetable oils. All the while, the rate of heart disease continues to increase. Sally Fallon will discuss how food lobbyists and the medical industry have gone behind the backs on Americans to make a profit, touting the benefits of low-fat and low-cholesterol diets while replacing traditional sources of healthy fats with new, processed hydrogenated fats and vegetable oils which our bodies reject. These oils along with foods devoid of proper nutrition are the true culprits of diet related illnesses.

“All of these diseases- heart disease, diabetes, obesity- have occurred as we’ve cut back on cholesterol, as we’ve cut back on saturated fats. So, they’re obviously not being caused by cholesterol and saturated fat. It just doesn’t make sense in any way, shape or form. And there’s a huge volume of literature that contradicts the theory that cholesterol and saturated fat cause heart disease.” - Sally Fallon

“I would eat the way your ancestors ate and prepare the foods the way they prepared them. Now, by ancestors, I mean you have to go back to before they were industrialized. In America, that’s several generations.” -Sally Fallon

Lancaster Ag’s passion for education in partnership with support from our wonderful sponsors once again brings to life the Annual Real Health Conference! We are pleased to invite you to spend the day with us and attend educational sessions led by experts in the forefront of sustainable and organic agriculture. The speakers come from all across the USA and give dynamic presentations in their areas of expertise.

Education and lifelong learning have always been the foundation for this company. Over twenty years ago, my father and I set out to educate ourselves about nutrient-dense soils among other aspects of sustainable agriculture. We valued the mentors who helped along the way including Dr. Siegfried Luebke, Dr. Dan Skow, Dr. Paul Dettloff and Dr. Arden Andersen. Their wisdom has taught us that nutrition is the foundation of our existence and good nutrition ultimately begins in the soil in which our food and forage is grown. There is a close tie-in between the quality of soil and the state of human health. Our health depends on the nutritional value of our food and it is the quality of the soil that determines how high in essential vitamins and minerals our foods are. Now we are pleased to pass on to you the things we have learned.

At the core of our company is this statement: Service and education are two key ways that Lancaster Ag benefits the farming community. We think about that mission every day as we answer questions, give recommendations, write orders, make deliveries, share our research, and organize conferences such as this one.

This will be an exciting and enriching day and we encourage you to attend. We will be honored by your presence and hope to meet you in person.

Sincerely, Reuben Stoltzfus & the Lancaster Ag Team
