Ninety-three people donate blood at Rockcastle County High School Ninety-three people came to the

support of the Rockcastle County Blood Program and Central Ken-tucky Blood Center on Friday, April 29, in Mt. Vernon. Eighty-three pints were donated atRockcastleCounty's spring blood drive.

The Rockcastle County High School FHA contributed to the suc-cess of the drive by publicizing the drive and organizing donors. The FBLA also assisted by recruiting donors. The next Rockcastle County blood drive has been scheduled for

July 6,1988 at the Agricultural Serv-ices Center.

G.E.D. tests Eastern Kentucky University has

scheduled two special Saturday dales for the General Education Develop-ment (GED) tests this spring.

The dates are offered for persons who cannot take time off from their jobs to be tested during the regular weekday testing schedule, according to Dr. R. Dean Acker, director of the EKU Division of Institutional Re-search and Testing.

The Saturday test dates will be May 14 and June 4, he said.
