You can apply online at fafsa.ed.gov. Western New England University’s code is 002226. c If you are a U.S. military veteran: Contact Enrollment Services at 413-796-2080. We will guide you on how to maximize any benefits you may be eligible for. c Send us your transcripts: 1. Send official college transcripts from each school you attended—not just your most recent college. 2. Send official high school transcripts with proof of graduation or GED. c Watch for your Admissions Decision Letter: If accepted, you will be automatically considered for an academic merit scholarship, which can be up to $18,000 per year ($20,000 if you’re a member of Phi Theta Kappa). c Receive your credit evaluation: You will receive a credit evaluation within 2 weeks of acceptance. If you have any questions regarding the evaluation, please call the Office of Admissions at 413-782-1321 and we will offer guidance. c Receive your Financial Aid Award letter. If you have any questions regarding financial aid or your bill, please call the Office of Enrollment Services at 413-796-2080. c Submit your tuition deposit: After depositing, you will receive information on how to activate your Western New England email and access your student portal. You can then take your placement exams and an advisor will register you for classes. c Participate in new student orientation/registration: If you are transferring for the fall semester, please consider attending SOAR, our Summer Orientation, which offers a special session for transfer students and is a great way to meet new people. c Apply for housing: Housing information will be available for resident students on their Admissions Status Page in May.
