Thanks to our 15 years of experience in natural raw ma- terials, your ready meals can now be served in a comple- tely sustainable way and free of plastic: the menu trays, the peelable films and even the matching lids are all made of rapidly renewable raw materials and are 100% biodegradable.
The naturesse menu trays are made of sugar cane fibres and generate around 50% less CO2 during production than conventional trays (made of part-recycled materials). The bio-lamination, which is also naturally biodegradable, pro-tects each tray from water and sauces. In combination with our biodegradable and peelable sealing films, or with a lid made of PLA or sugar cane fibres, the natural packaging solution is complete. The wide product range is suitable for every imaginable application and with our easy-to-use seal-ing machines, your ready meals are also packed naturally in no time at all.
This sustainable alternative to plastic is ideal for meals with longer holding times, for dressed salads, sauce-based dish-
es, juicy meals or even for iced desserts. The ready-meal packaging withstands the cold of the freezer as well as the heat of the microwave and of the oven, and so can also be used to freeze or heat the food. As always, the closure must be removed before reheating. Further details can be found in the application matrix on page 6.
By the way, our range of products also includes menu trays made of the material kraft, which is currently very sought-after. The sturdy cardboard looks nice, is likewise 100% biodegradable and comes from sustainable forestry with FSC® certification. Combined with a natural PLA coat-ing, kraft is also heat and moisture resistant.
