1. What is Reading Comprehension? According to Alderson (2000), meaning is

constructed in the interaction between a reader and a text, and it is this process what we understand by “reading” proper.

2. What are Macro and Micro Skills?

Macroskills focus on the global understanding of a particular text.

Microskills deal with local or phrase-by phrase understanding.

3. What different types of text are there?

Narrative texts are expressions of event-based experiences.

Expository texts are mainly informational, convey content, and purport to induce new insights on a given topic.

4. Why is reading a Cyclical Process?
