Dear Sir/Madam: Thank you for considering me to be a part of your special celebration. This letter will provide you with information about my service. On the day of your wedding...... I normally arrive at the venue 30 minutes (or at the time agreed) before the ceremony commences to set up the harp. Once all set, I will begin playing as the guests are arriving (15-20 minutes prior to the ceremony). During the ceremony, your choice of music will be performed during the processional, signing of the register and the recessional. This will be followed by background music when your weddings photos are being taken and when the guests mingle and enjoy the wonderful facility that you have arranged. (FYI, the following pages contain a list of my repertoire.) The standard charge for a harp gig in Christchurch is $250 for the first hour, and then $25 for each subsequent quarter-hour. (Note: [1] A non-refundable deposit of $50 is required to secure your booking. [2] A shelter or an indoor arrangement must be provided in case of a wet day. [3] The full payment is expected to be made within a week from the performance date; however, advance payment is preferred. [4] Cartage costs to venues in Christchurch are included in the fee outlined. [5] Jo-Ying only accepts gigs in Christchurch and in nearby towns.)
