The Invisible Cities, Italo Calvino
welcome back
looking from a different point of view
how would you re-imagine London?
starting from Southbank
through the rabbit hole
a stolen bridge in Blackfriars
and what is that???
what is re-imagine London?
Re-imagine London is:
A creative exercise that encourages you to look at London in a different way and to re-imagine ʻwhat it could beʼ. We hope this will enable other Londoners to discover new ways or relating to the city.
Awe-inspiring, mind-expanding, fun.
imaginary tour guide - kit
who is it for?
why Southbank?
working in partnership
re-imagineLondon
how does it work?
Re-imagine London (Southbank in this case)
1. two workshops with young people to imagine short stories about spaces and places around Southbank.
2. produce a stand alone ʻimaginary tour guide kitʼ - a map of the area and a set of postcards.
3. other visitors can use the kit to explore and re-discover Southbank as well as giving some feedback or new ideas to co-design and improve the experience.
