Actually it is our 515 th month of marriage, but we decided that it is too hard to find time at the beginning of the school year so we are celebrating it a month early. I feel like we are cheating or getting lazy to not celebrate it on the exact date. Its like opening a Christmas present before Christmas. You have to wait until it is time. Although we begged as children to open the night before Christmas and sometimes did open one or two. Actually we begged for weeks and settled for the night before. Is it wrong to celebrate before the celebration? We are involved in a spiritual battle. The forces of evil are strong and danger- ous. Even so, we already know who the winner is. Weve already won! Can we celebrate the victory?!? Dont we celebrate our victory every week when we meet and praise Jesus as King of Kings and Lord of Lords? There is victory in Jesus. 1 Corinthians 15:57 57 But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our LORD Jesus Christ. So go ahead. Celebrate now but remain vigilant so that we do not lose our prize already won for us through Jesus Christ our Lord. Maybe next year Debbie and I will celebrate our 50 th Anniversary! Yo soy tu hermano Gilberto......
