Reliability Dynamics LLC | Company Overview 1 Company Overview Reliability Dynamics LLC is a registered engineering company specializing in equipment reliability and maintenance solutions for corporate software systems. The company has been in business since September 1, 2010. The primary product is the Industry Standard Solution for SAP Plant Maintenance (ISPM TM ). The company is headquartered at 3432 Topsfield Road, South Bend, Indiana, USA. Mission We combine engineering science with information technology to optimize performance and safety of equipment assets in manufacturing industries. We enable data-driven decision making with high-quality information. We optimize information quality and interoperability through standard data collection, merging, and assessment processes. Value Proposition Reliability Dynamics helps companies maximize production throughput and minimize hazards with high- quality equipment reliability data. With the ISPM product, companies can quickly identify and address bad actor and pattern equipment failures that affect production or cause hazards. Whereas traditional solutions account for only actual equipment repair costs (approximately 10 percent of revenue loss), ISPM gives companies the tools to account for all consequences related to each equipment failure: production loss, health, safety, and environmental incidents, and repair costs. With ISPM, companies can also account for potential “near-miss” consequences. ISPM greatly improves quality and accessibility of equipment reliability data with standard data collection processes and by structuring data in relational format. High-quality structured data enable fast and comprehensive analyses. Whereas non-relational failure data (typical of traditional solutions) must be analyzed one record at a time, with ISPM, thousands of failure events can be queried simultaneously. This truly gives companies the ability to make data-driven decisions. ISPM is built on international data and engineering standard practices. Standard practices facilitate a template approach for implementation, which reduces implementation time and cost by 50 percent. Business Concept Reliability Dynamics provides solution design and preconfigured solutions within SAP corporate software for Enterprise Asset management (EAM). 1 Reliability Dynamic’s EAM solutions give manufacturing companies high-quality equipment performance and failure consequence data. Companies use that information to identity high-consequence equipment failures and failure patterns, determine underlying failure details and systemic problems, develop maintenance strategies, and take corrective actions. 1 EAM refers to equipment maintenance, reliability engineering, and consequence assessment processes that are applied in asset intensive industries, such as petrochemical, oil and gas, utilities and mining). The relevant SAP functionality is Plant Maintenance.

Reliability Dynamics LLC | Company Overview 1

Company Overview Reliability Dynamics LLC is a registered engineering company specializing in equipment reliability and

maintenance solutions for corporate software systems. The company has been in business since

September 1, 2010. The primary product is the Industry Standard Solution for SAP Plant Maintenance

(ISPMTM). The company is headquartered at 3432 Topsfield Road, South Bend, Indiana, USA.

Mission We combine engineering science with information technology to optimize performance and safety of

equipment assets in manufacturing industries. We enable data-driven decision making with high-quality

information. We optimize information quality and interoperability through standard data collection,

merging, and assessment processes.

Value Proposition Reliability Dynamics helps companies maximize production throughput and minimize hazards with high-

quality equipment reliability data. With the ISPM product, companies can quickly identify and address

bad actor and pattern equipment failures that affect production or cause hazards. Whereas traditional

solutions account for only actual equipment repair costs (approximately 10 percent of revenue loss),

ISPM gives companies the tools to account for all consequences related to each equipment failure:

production loss, health, safety, and environmental incidents, and repair costs. With ISPM, companies

can also account for potential “near-miss” consequences.

ISPM greatly improves quality and accessibility of equipment reliability data with standard data

collection processes and by structuring data in relational format. High-quality structured data enable

fast and comprehensive analyses. Whereas non-relational failure data (typical of traditional solutions)

must be analyzed one record at a time, with ISPM, thousands of failure events can be queried

simultaneously. This truly gives companies the ability to make data-driven decisions.

ISPM is built on international data and engineering standard practices. Standard practices facilitate a

template approach for implementation, which reduces implementation time and cost by 50 percent.

Business Concept Reliability Dynamics provides solution design and preconfigured solutions within SAP corporate software

for Enterprise Asset management (EAM).1 Reliability Dynamic’s EAM solutions give manufacturing

companies high-quality equipment performance and failure consequence data. Companies use that

information to identity high-consequence equipment failures and failure patterns, determine underlying

failure details and systemic problems, develop maintenance strategies, and take corrective actions.

1 EAM refers to equipment maintenance, reliability engineering, and consequence assessment processes that are applied in asset intensive industries, such as petrochemical, oil and gas, utilities and mining). The relevant SAP functionality is Plant Maintenance.

Reliability Dynamics LLC | Company Overview 2

Reliability Dynamics has a fundamentally different approach to EAM:

1. Reliability Dynamics enables data-driven corporate decision making with high-quality and high-

availability information. Customers have an enterprise-wide view of equipment performance

and its effect on their bottom line.

2. Reliability Dynamic’s primary focus is EAM. In contrast, many large system integrators2 focus on

implementation of finance and controlling (FICO) and materials management (MM) and treat

EAM as an afterthought.

3. Reliability Dynamics treats an EAM implementation as an engineering project. Business

processes are designed by experienced reliability engineers fully conversant with engineering

requirements and relevant industry standards. Solutions are consistent with recognized and

generally accepted good engineering practices (RAGAGEP). In contrast, most system integrators

staff EAM implementations with non-technical system configurators.

4. Reliability dynamics personnel are SAP-certified solution consultants with leading expertise in

SAP software capabilities and in-depth knowledge of relational data theory and data

architecture principles. These are people uniquely qualified to match functional engineering

requirements with solution capabilities and deliver optimal solutions for EAM.

5. Reliability Dynamics makes SAP easy to use. Sound data architecture maximizes user

friendliness: cockpit view, single entry point to all information, logical and intuitive data

structuring, automation of data-intensive requirements, and simplified screens with relevant

information only.

6. Reliability Dynamics gives better results at a lower cost. Standard designs packaged in rapid-

deployment templates (RDTs) minimize implementation costs and maximize solution

effectiveness. RDTs significantly reduce implementation duration and corporate personnel time

commitments required for implementation.

Management Tony Ciliberti is licensed professional chemical engineer and SAP-certified solution consultant (Plant

Maintenance) with 25 years of international experience in equipment reliability and risk management

for petrochemical, oil and gas, and utilities industries. Ciliberti has designed and implemented asset

management solutions for some of the world’s largest public utilities and oil and gas companies.

2 The term system integrator refers to companies that implement software solutions within corporate software systems.
