Insight

This is the story of Simba, a feisty lion cub who cannot wait to grow to become king as he reaches for his

destiny in the great circle of life… This is a story of true friendship and loyalty, and that will and commitment

will prevail, even against all odds.

Sometimes you want to hide against adversity, and stay away from trouble, but life always find a way to

catch up and restore order… it always does!

Simba, he was born just a few moments ago to Sarabi and Mufasa, both

queen and king of the Savannah…

gathering to welcome Simba into the world…

Rafiki holds Simba high and all the animals greet and bow to them…

Challenge scene… Mufasa approaching Scar Scar Erik (Sarcastically)But why….! If is not my big brother descending from on high

to mingle with the commoners Mh,Mh,Mhhhhh!

Mufasa Luciano Sarabi and I didn’t see you at the presentation of Simba…

Scar Erik (Facking surprise…) That was today….??? Oh, I feel simply awful…! He,

Scar Erick Must have slipped my mind… (Admiring his claws)

Yes, well… As slippery as your mind is … As the king’s brother, you should

have been first in line…!

Scar Erick Well, I was first in line until the little hair ball was born…!

That hairball is my son…!!! And your future king…! (Challenging Scar head

on…)

Scar Erick Oh…! I shall practice my royal manners (with sarcasm)

Mufasa Luciano Don’t you dare to turn your back on me brother… (Menacing…)

back at him)

Mufasa Luciano (Roars with hate…) Is that a challenge brother…?

Scar Erick Temper, temper… Mmmmm! I wouldn’t dream of challenging you… Ever!

Zazu Nuri Pity…! Why not ?

Well, as far as brains go… I got the lion’s share… But, when it comes to

brute strength, (looking at Mufasa) I’m afraid I am at the shallow end of the

gene pool… (Scar leaving the stage…)

Zazu Nuri (Deep sigh…) There is one in every family sire…! Two in mine actually…!

And they always manage to ruin special locations.

Mufasa Luciano What am I going to do with him…?

Zazu Nuri He’d make a very handsome throw rug…! Ja, Ja,Ja…!

Mufasa Luciano Zazu! (Almost joking)

Zazu Nuri And just think, whenever it gets dirty… You could take him about and beat

him clean…! Ja, Ja, Ja… ( Both leaving the stage…)

Rafiki Ruben The sun is rising on a new day on Pride Rock

Tiki Patricio Simba is ready to come out and play…

Mufasa and Simba leave Pride rock and begin to ride around…( Song circle

Mufasa Luciano Look Simba, everything the light touches is our kingdom…

Mufasa Luciano About that place…. You must never go there… EVER!!

Simba Eduardo But I thought that a king could do whatever he desires…!

Mufasa Luciano That is part of the circle of life Simba, we feed from the antelope that fed

with grass that grows when we die… (They both leave the scenery)

(Sinister sound when Scar talks to Simba)

Simba enters and Scar is looking up over the dark place

Simba Agustin Hey Uncle Scar…! Guess what…? I am going to be the king of Pride Rock!

Scar Erick (sarcastically) Oh! Goody…!

Simba Agustin My dad just showed me our whole kingdom…

Scar Erick Yes, well… well…! Forgive me for not leaping for joy…!

Simba Agustin HEY Uncle Scar… when I´m king… What would that make you…?

Scar Erick A monkey´s uncle…! So your father showed you the whole kingdom…?

Simba Agustin Everything…!

Scar Erick He didn’t show you what is beyond that dark place…?

Simba Agustin Disappointed… Well… no! He said I can´t ever go there…!

Scar Erick And he is absolutely right…! Only the bravest lions dare to go there…!

Simba Agustin Well, I am brave… but… What is out there…?

Scar Erick No!...I am sorry Simba, I just can´t tell…! (lowering voice) An elephant

graveyard… Oooooppss…!

Simba Agustin (Enthusiastic) An elephant what…! Woooow!

Scar Erick (Faking worries) Oh dear! I´ve said too much…! Just do me a favor… Promise

me you will never visit that horrible place…!

Simba Agustin Oh…! No problem …!

Simba and Scar leave the stage… Scar walks away with an evil

smile…! (Sinister music again…!)

Simba Agustin (talking to himself) I need to find Nala and tell her the secret…!

Simba Agustin Hi Safina, Hi Mukonda…! I didn’t see you standing there…!

Scar Luciano (Shouting) We are not going anywhere …!

Scar Luciano Surprised and scared… Simba?... Simba…! I am a little

surprised to see you…Alive! (Looking mad at the hyenas)

Simba Nuri Give me one good reason why I shouldn’t rip you apart…!

Scar Luciano Well… I don’t think you should do that…! The hyenas think

I am king…

Nala Camila Well… We don’t… Simba is the true king…!

Simba Nuri The choice is yours Scar… Either step down… Or fight…!!!

Oh! Must it all end in violence…? I’d hate to be responsible

for the death of a family member… Wouldn’t you agree
