PLEASE NOTE! THIS EVENT IS CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC. Exhibitors and club volunteers only.! This show will follow CDC guidelines and AKC best practices, along with state and local

ordinances regarding COVID-19 in effect as of the date of the show. STAY HOME IF YOUARE SICK.

! All exhibitors attending this event agree to hold K-9 Obedience Training Club of Essex County,NJ, its members, directors, officers, agents, superintendents or show secretary and the owneror lessor of the premises and any employees of the aforementioned parties, harmless fromany claim or loss or injury including COVID 19, which may be alleged to have been causeddirectly or indirectly.

! All exhibitors must submit a signed COVID-19 Waiver upon entering the trial site at VeronaHigh School. The waiver form will be attached to the Judging Program.

! Face masks are required inside the building including during walk-throughs. Each Judge willdetermine whether face masks must be worn while exhibiting.

! No Dogs will be admitted into the show site prior to 7:30 A.M. Unentered dogs are notpermitted in the school building.

! Flexi-Leads are prohibited in all areas of the show grounds (inside and outside). No X-PENSallowed.

! Crating space is extremely limited. NO CRATING ALLOWED IN GYMS. Crates are onlyallowed where indicated in school hallways.

! Exhibitors must remove their dogs from the school building once their exhibiting is completedfor the day.

No food items will be available. Coffee, tea, soft drinks and bottled water will be available starting at 7:30 A.M.

4. A dog must be entered in the name of the person who actually owned it at the time entries for a show closed. ! ENTRIES RECEIVED WITHOUT FEES will not be accepted. Telegraph and unsigned entries cannot be accepted.Entries not on official AKC entry forms and photocopies of entry forms without the Agreement and Rules on thereverse side of the Official AKC Entry Form are not acceptable.

! NO ENTRY SHALL BE MADE AND NO ENTRY SHALL BE ACCEPTED WHICH SPECIFIES ANY CONDITIONSAS TO ITS ACCEPTANCE.

! ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF ENTRIES will be made as soon as practicable with tickets and/or identificationcards. The person accompanying a dog must show tickets of admission and identification before the dogwill be received. ! NO REFUND FOR DUPLICATE ENTRIES. We will make every effort to find all duplicate entries, butif a dog has been processed, no refund will be made.

! AN ADMINSTRATIVE FEE of $2.00 will be withheld from all refunds for entries cancelled prior to the closingof entries. Refund and Cash award checks are void after 180 days and will NOT be re-issued.

! ERRORS ON ENTRY BLANKS. Owners are responsible for errors in making out entry forms, whoevermay make such errors, and no entry fee will be refunded in event of such errors or cancellation of entriesafter the published closing date.

! ENTRY FEES shall not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by Veterinarianor Judge, or barred from competition by action of Show Committee. If because of riots, civil disturbancesor other acts beyond the control of the management it is impossible to open or to complete the show, norefund of entry fee will be made.

! BITCHES IN SEASON. Since bitches in season are not permitted to compete in Obedience Trials, all but$2.50 of the entry fee for bitches unable to compete for that reason, will be refunded. To be eligible for suchrefund the Show Superintendent must be notified by letter postmarked January 16, 2022 or earlier, togetherwith a veterinarian's certificate confirming the fact that the bitch is in season.

! CONSULT JUDGING PROGRAM FOR TIME OF JUDGING. All dogs should arrive 15 minutes beforejudging time. Judges will not wait for any dog holding up a class. Dogs will be judged in catalog order tothe extent that it is practical to do so without holding up the judging in any ring for a dog that is entered inmore than one class at this trial. Owners or agents alone are responsible for the presence of their dogsin the judging ring when their classes are called to be judged. The show-giving club and the Superintendenthave no obligation or responsibility for providing service through a public address system or stewards orrunners for the purpose of calling or locating dogs that are not brought into the ring when requested.

! THIS TRIAL IS UNBENCHED. Dogs may enter or leave the grounds at will. Dogs not required for furtherjudging will be excused.

! NO UNENTERED DOGS are permitted on the show grounds. No dogs are permitted in the schoolcafeteria. All dogs must be held on leash or confined to their crates except when being judged. Dogsare not allowed to roam on school property.

! THE SHOW COMMITTEE/SUPERINTENDENT will use care and diligence for the welfare of dogs andexhibitors, but will not be responsible for, nor assume any liability, in the event of an accident ormisfortune to either dogs or exhibitors participating in the show.

! THE OBEDIENCE TRIAL AND RALLY TRIAL will be open from 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.

! ADMISSION: ONLY Exhibitors with Entry Acknowledgment may enter the trial site beginning at 7:30 A.M.

! Due to COVID-19 concerns, no one except exhibitors will be admitted into the trial site at Verona HighSchool.
