Thirty Eight(38) Telangana Tribal Welfare Residential Schools are functioning under aegis of Telangana Tribal Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society(TTWREIS(R), Hyderabad) out of which 35 are General Tribal Welfare General Residential Schools, (2) PTG Resdiential Schools and (1) School of Excellence, Bhadrachalam, Khammam District. In the reference cited, permission has been accorded to administer a screening test for the admissions into Entry point V class in General Residential Schools, Entry point VIII Class in SOE, BHhadrachalam and backlog vacancies, if any, in VI to IX classes in General Residetial Schools . In this regard, the following guidelines are issued to take up the admission process into Telangana Tribal Welfare Residential Schools for the academic year 2015-16.

1. Admission Committee

A. Chairperson : Project Officer in ITDA Disticts/ Addl.Joint Collector in Non-ITDA Districts/Joint Collector-2, in case if there is no Addl.Joint Collector in any district.

B. Coordinator : DD(TW) in ITDA Districts / DTWO in non ITDA Districts.

C. Convener : Nodal Principal of the District concerned.

D. Members : School Principals of the district concerned.

2. Screening Test Pattern

A screening test will be conducted for admissions into entry point 5th class and for back log vacancies of 6th to 9th class in 35 TTW General Residential Schools. The pattern of the question paper is as follows.

The test will be for 100 marks in objective type on previous class syllabus. The Weightage of marks for different subjects and form of questions is furnished here under.

General Guidelines for admissions:

i) TS Gurukulam has already issued an advertisement regarding admissions into TTW Residential schools for 2015-16 in EENADU & NAMASTHE TELANGANA daily news papers on 28.03.2015 . Even though, the Principals have to give wide publicity regarding the admissions.

Unit of admission:

District is the Unit ( As per the reservation policy mentioned in the annexure)

Reservation Policy 1. 78% of seats reserved for ST Community including PTGs, OC-2%, BC-5%, SC-12%, Agency Employee Quota(AEQ)-3% in General ST Residential Schools (Annexure-I)

2. 95% of seats are reserved for PTGs, OC-1%, BC-1%, SC-2% and AEQ-1% in PTG Schools (Annexure-II)

Annual Income of parent

The annual Income of the parent shall not exceed Rs.65,000/-per annum in rural areas and Rs.75,000/- per annum in Urban Areas for admission into any Residential Schools.

Age Limit

1.For V class admissions, the Candidate should be completed 4th class in Govt.Schools /GAHS/ Recognized Schools should be born between 01.09.2002 and 31.08.2006.

2.For admission into backlog vacancies, the candidate should belong to ST community. The student should have studied the previous class in a Govt. School/Aided School/Recognised Schools

Test Centres: All residential schools in the district will be the test centres. The Principals of the centre will be the Chief Superintendent and the Nodal Principal will be the Convener Principal for the admission test in the district. Duties of the convener Principal

a. The Nodal Princial is the convener for admissions process. He has to circulate the admissions file to the chair person of the admissions committee and get approval. The list of convener principals is mentioned in the Annexure – III

b. The Convener Principal has to issue admission press note ( Not an advertisement) in district edition regarding admissions and take necessary steps to provide wide publicity in their jurisdiction for optimum utilization of these opportunities and ensure that large number of students appear for the test. The press note has to cover Gender wise list of schools in the district, class wise & Category wise availability of seats, income limit of the parents and due dates for admission.

c. Receiving of applications and issue of hall tickets should be made simultaneously at a time in the institutions. Class wise and Gender Wise Nominal Rolls in Excel Sheet should be prepared in the institution and should be submitted to the convener Principal in the district within in the stipulated time.

d. The Principals are requested to allot the Eight digit hall ticket number giving class first ( One digit, if the application is for SOE, then the code is ― S ― ), district Code next ( One alphabet – Annexure-V), followed Gender Code( Girl-X, Boy-Y, Annexure-V), Test Centre Code ( Two digits 01 to 38 – Annexure-VI) and serial number from 001 to 999 for each class.

e.The convener Principals have to consolidate the nominal rolls class wise, gender wise and category wise.

f. The Principals of the Test centres have to handover the sealed bundle of answer scripts along with marked NRs and absent statement to the convener Principals soon after completion of the test. Evaluation, tabulation shall be done and merit lists

shall be prepared within the next two days of the test with identified teachers from the schools in the district.

g. If sufficient applications are not received in any reserved category, the leftover

seats in that category (SC, BC, PHC and AEQ) shall be filled with STs at the time of preparation of selection lists.

h. Basing on the merit and options exercised by the students, school shall be allotted

as per the sanctioned seats in each school for various categories as shown in annexure – I

i. School wise, class wise, category wise selection and waiting lists shall be prepared and get approved by the chairperson of the admission committee. After getting the approval, the selection lists shall be handed over to the concerned principals with instructions to send call letters to the selected candidates.

ADMISSIONS INTO SOE, BHADRACHALAM, KHAMMAM DISTRICT. I. The entry point in SOE, Bhadrachalam is class 8th. It is a co-education

institution.Test for 8th class admissions into School of Excellence, Bhadrachalam, Khammam District shall be conducted on the same day i.e., on 21.04.2015 From 2:00PM to 4:00 PM. No.of seats in 8th class is 90. The address of the institution is ‘ School of Excellence, Bhadrachalam, Khammam District , Telangana State. Cell No. 9490957283.’

II. Eligibility: 1. All the ST (Boys & Girls) should belong to all 10 Districts of Telangana State

studying 7th class (English/Telugu Medium) during the year 2014-15 in TW Residential Schools, Ashram Schools, Govt. Schools and other Govt.Recognised schools.

2. Parental income should not exceed Rs. 65,000/- per annum in rural areas and Rs.75,000/- per annum in urban areas.

3. Separate NRs shall be prepared for SOE, Bhadrachalam admissions.

4. Selected candidates have to produce necessary certificates like caste, income, Ration card, SSID No., Aadhar Card, Study, T.C., Physical Fitness certificates, 03 Passport size photos at the time of admission.

III. Reservation: 1. 100% Seats are reserved for STs only in SOE, Bhadrachalam

2.30% Seats are reserved for Girls in SOE, Bhadrachalam.

IV. Submission of Application form:

Prescribed application form for SOEs shall be used. Hall ticket profoma is also added in

the application form. Convener Principal of the concerned district has to issue hall tickets

to the candidates applied for admission test for SOEs. SOE applications shall be submitted to

the convener Principal of the district only and test should be at convener school only

from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. on 21.04.2015

No postal correspondence will be entertained.

1. The candidates have to submit a separate application form for the admission test

for admissions into 8th class in SOE, Bhadrachalam, Khammam District.

2. Question papers will be supplied by the Gurukulam. Convener Principals are

instructed to depute one responsible person to receive the confidential material on

18.04.2015. The convener Principal should handover the confidential material to all

the chief superintendents on the day before the test.

3. In respect of admissions into SOE, Bhadrachalam, Khammam Dist., Separate

Question paper will be supplied to the Convener Principal of the district to conduct

the test on 21.04.2015 from 2:00PM to 4:00PM.

GUIDELINES TO THE PRINCIPALS/CHIEF SUPERINTENDENTS

1. The Chief Superintendents of the Test Centres shall make necessary arrangements

like appointment of invigilators, clerical staff, class-IV employees for conduct of

the entrance test. Drinking water, health measures etc., well in advance. One

invigilator for 25 students, one clerk, two attenders, one sweeper and one water

boy may be engaged for smooth conduct of entrance test.

2. The chief superintendents should convene a meeting with the invigilators one hour

before the commencement of the examination for giving necessary instructions.

3. The chief Superintendents of the test centres shall conduct the test without giving

any scope for untoward incidents. The Question paper bundles shall be opened

10minutes before the commencement of the test.

4. Soon after completion of the test, the answer scripts shall be packed class wise and

submitted to the convener principal along with NRs and absentees statement on the

same day.

ADMISSIONS INTO PTG SCHOOLS:

1. RS(B), Mannanur, Mahabubnagar District and RS(B), Kerameri, Adilabad District are

specially established for PTGs. The entry point class in these (2) schools is 3rd class.

The admissions into 3rd class and backlog vacancies in class 4th to 9th ( if any) on

first come first serve basis. The principal concerned shall record the name, father’s

name, class, date and time of receipt of the application in the register. Soon after

receipt of an application, the in-charge of admissions should sign on it and note the

date and time of receipt of application.

2. The concerned principals of the PTG Schools shall issue a separate press note( Not

an advertisement) in District editions of leading daily news papers on 01.04.2015

for calling applications for admission into 3rd class and backlog vacancies in other

classes with details of class-wise, category wise No.of seats available.

3. List of admitted candidates shall be approved by the chairperson of the admission

committee.

4. The Principals of PTG schools have to request the Head Masters of the

Govt.Ashram Primary and High Schools to sponsor the PTG Students. The Principals

and staff are held responsible for 100% enrollment in PTG Schools.

All the Principals are informed that the application form model is available in

Gurukulam web site: www.tgtwgurukulam.telangana.gov.in. They are directed to supply

the application for admissions into TTWR Schools & SOE, Bhadrachalam to the desired

candidates on free of cost.
