• In November 2010, our first Union Learning Rep was recruited and trained – Sonya Cassidy

• The learning programme began when we had our first planning meeting with Gary and the centre managers in February 2011

• Programme officially launched with a survey and open day in July 2011

• First courses started in September 2011

• December 2011 – award ceremony for first courses
