Prior to joining RBB in 2016, Alexandre obtained a MSc in Economics jointly awarded by the Economics School of Louvain and Clemson University. He also completed a Bachelor degree in Business Engineering at Université Catholique de Louvain. A Belgian national, Alexandre is fluent in French and English. Alexandre has advised clients on several Phase II matters before the European Commission. He has also advised on competition matters in various national jurisdictions, including the UK, France, the Netherlands, Spain, Serbia, Ukraine and South Korea. His experience includes mergers raising both horizontal and vertical concerns, cartel investigations, abuse of dominance cases and litigations. Alexandre has worked with various clients, including Siemens, Alstom, Imperial Tobacco, Booking.com, Blackstone and Spirit AeroSystems. Alexandre’s experience covers a wide range of industries, including rail transport, fast moving consumer goods, online platforms, industrial chemicals and aircrafts. He also has extensive experience in the tobacco industry, having advised Imperial Tobacco before various national jurisdictions including the Netherlands, Spain, Serbia and Ukraine.
