RB Drills Warm Up have ball in hand High Knees, Carioca, Side Shuffle, Backpedal Butt Kicks, Lunges Ladder Drills – one foot in each, lateral two feet in each Quick Feet Toe Tap (USF DB drill) 1. Running Balance Balance Touch – touch palm of hand down to ground 3 times in 15 yds Corkscrew – put hand on ground and go around 5 cones in straight line Pogo – start with L hand and R foot on ground on a line, switch ball in midair Sideline – rip thru defenders w/ bags 2 yds from sideline, have guys on sideline trying to strip Reduce & Rip – approach defender at 45* toward sidelines, reduce hips and rip Footwork Mini Zig Zag – zig zag thru cones 2 yds apart. Keep ball in same hand. 4 Cone Drill Pyramid – zig zag down the pyramid Pyramid – Two Feet Over Tire Juke Bounce - run to hole, bounce outside, and turn corner tight (reduce hips) Spin – start 10 yds from defender, run at an angle and spin inside Hit and Spin – use cone to stay tight on spin Overpursuit – run along sideline, use hand to throw defender by you and get back to sideline Light Feet – four bags next to each other, step two feet on each bag Bag Drill – lateral 45* over two sets of bags High Knees – use bags, tires, or ropes Power Stiff Arm – stiff arm and lift tackling dummy, from an angle 5 yds away Boom – straight ahead at tackling dummy, lower shoulder and bring elbow up Blast Drill – split defenders, deliver blow with free hand and use good knee drive Score Drill – 1 on 1 vs LB's between cones at GL 2. 3. Blocking

Stalk Block Progression:

1. Fit position - hat under his hat, hands on the steering wheel, wide base.

2. Fit and Walk - 10 yds. Wide base and short, choppy steps.

3. Punch - good stance, punch #'s with heel of hand, should hear a "pop."

4. Punch (3x) and Drive - 10 yds.

5. Mirror - mirror DB between two cones with hands behind back.

6. Approach - run at DB and break down 3-4 yds in front of him.

7. Approach, Mirror, Punch, and Drive - the whole thing.Pass Pro Drills:Mirror hands behind back

Pass Pro Punch punch sled from knees, then on feet-hit each sled down the line

Pressure 1 on 1 vs defender, put hands on steering wheel

Push-Pull defender has hands on your jersey, and tries to get you off-balance

Extension defender runs at you from 2 yds away, you must punch and extend (do w/o helmet)

1 on 1 vs LB's pass pro
