Captain GEORGE DOUGHTY, in charge of the IdentificationDivision, Dallas Police Department, advised the Crime Laboratory

of the Dallas Police Department, i s under his immediate jurisdiction. He advised that on November 24, 1963, Captain HILLFRITZ of the Homicide Bureau of the Dallas Police Department,turned over to him a .38 Calibre Coit Cobra, with a one inchbarrel and shroud, bearing Seriel Number @f44LW] He stated thiswas a six shot pistol and· at the time of obtaining this gun, FRITZ .

also turned over to him a .38 Calibre slug which had been takenfrom the body o f LEE HARVEY OSHALD. Captain DOUGHTY stated theseitems were being held by his d e ~ a r t m e n t as evidence.
