QUTUB MINARABOUT ITS STRUCTURE:The minaret is made of fluted red sandstone covered with intricate carvings and verses from the quran. Numerous inscriptions in Arabic and Nagari characters in different places of the Minar reveal the history of qutub.

The qutub minar comprises several superposed flanged and cylindrical shafts, saperated by balconies carried on muqarnas corbels. The complex initially housed 27 ancient Hindu and Jain temples, which were destroyed and their debris used to build the qutub minar.

AESTHETICS

As it was minaret it seems like to be as a pillar but not to a normal size and shape.It is a gigantic structure.By seeing that we can come to know that is the kings empire.Some small children may be afraid of that because it is the only building in that surrounding areas since it is a kingdom. The purpose for this monument has been variouslky speculated upon. Some say the minaret was used to calling for prayer in the Quwwat-ul-Islam. But it is so tall that one cannot hear the person standing on the top.

PERCEPTION

Because of the corrosive qualities a fence around it was built for safety.The quality of iron is an excellence of technology.The amalgamation of different metals with iron produce such high quality of smoothness.SYMBOLISM

The diameter of the minaret base is of 14.3 mts where as the last store is of 2.7 mts.
