Installation of Requirements
Apache Tomcat
An application is needed to run the Jazz Team Server. IBM RTC supports Apache Tomcat and
IBM Websphere. The Opensource Tomcat is used for this tutorial.
Click here to Download
Download the binaries 32/64 Windows.zip file.
After the download is done, run the executable with default settings.
If you have the default port number used already by a different application, select different.
Jazz Team Server Installation:
Complete registration at Jazz Team and download RTC (V 3.0 used in this tutorial).
After download is done, extract the RTC-Web-Installer-Win-3.0.zip file and run the Launchpad.

Select Jazz Team Server and CCM Application

Check Jazz Team Sever and Required Base Licences

Finish the installation.

RTC Eclipse Client Installation
Open Launchpad.exe from RTC-Web-Installer-Win-3.0
Select Rational Team Concert- Client for Eclipse IDE

This tutorial uses Eclipse IDE. download
Once the installation of eclipse is done with Java environment download RTC client for eclipse which is

Now open Eclipse -> help->Install New Software ->click on add->select the downloaded RTC-Client-
p2Repo-3.0.1.2.zip file and install it.

Use your ip address or other name that satisfies the URL naming conviction.
RTC comes up with Derby database so that is used in installation.

Enter the URL you created during the Jazz Team Server setup.
Enter the username, password.
