He has worked in leading positions for several years in top firms like White Architects and the urban consultant office, Gehl Architects, on projects in Australia, China, the US and most of Europe. In addition to his work at arki_lab, he is also an Associate Professor at DIS: Study Abroad in Scandinavia, where he teaches Architecture and Urban Design, primarily to American students. He is a well-known guest speaker around the world with a special focus on the human dimension of architecture, urban design and city planning. SMART LIVERPOOL, SMART PEDESTRIANS | Liverpool, AU, 2018The project, winner of the 2018 local government initiative award, focused on improving the walkability. The aim was to improve it by monitoring mobility patterns within CBD by using complimentary sensing technologies.

HORSENS HIGH STREET | Horsens, DK, 2018In collaboration with a multidisciplinary team arki_lab won a competition to redesign Horsens high street. The project focused on creating a High Street that enriches Horsens’ sense of identity as a lively city, rich with new experiences.

A NEW PARK AND CONNECTIONS IN KVARTERSPARKEN | Høje-Taastrup, DK, 2018arki_lab has worked on the development a new park development as part of a multidisciplinary team with BOGL Landscape Architects and Atkins Engineers.

UPGRADING THE SCHOOL YARD AT ORDRUP GYMNASIUM | Gentofte Kommune, DK, 2018The uninspiring outdoor areas were transformed into learning and activity areas designed with the students. Through workshops the students have developed design solutions for the areas between the school buildings.

SCHOOL+ | Haarby School, Copenhagen, DK, 2017The goal was to upgrade the school environment into a space with enhanced capacity for physical activity of its users and also to create a connection between the school and it’s surrounding local community.

A LIVELY OUTDOOR CLASSROOM | Copenhagen, DK, 2016In collaboration with Nørrebro Area Renewal and BUF arki_lab conducted a series of workshops with three local schools in Nørrebro to generate ideas about outdoor education and classrooms. The workshops aimed to explore different possibilities and potential challenges with outdoor education.

THE SOUL OF NØRREBRO | Copenhagen, DK, 2016arki_lab contributed to the winning design proposal for the Nordic Built Cities (masterplan for the Hans Tavsens Park) with past experience with strategies for citizen involvement, designing outdoor learning spaces, creating temporary installation and development of sustainable communities.

PLAN D’AOU - REIMAGINING THE FRENCH VILLAGE | Europan ‘12, Marseille, FR, 2013Frist prize for the proposal for Europan’12 competition. It focused on urban intervention and social renewal of Plan D’Aou through the community engagement.
