Introduction:

Rarekiller 3 is a Plugin to use with the Bot Honorbuddy. It is the Replacement Plugin of Rarekiller and Rarekiller 2 Once installed and enabled it will scan for several things, like:

Timelost Protodrake for Mount Camel Figurines and Dormus for Mount Poseidus for Mount Objects from Another Mans Treasure and Riches of Pandaria for Achievement Dark Soil in Pandaria Raptor Nests for Battlepets Rare Mobs of Frostbitten (WOTLK) and Bloody Rare (BC) for Achievement Cataclysm Rare Mobs for Items Blingtron 4000 Tame Rare Hunter Pets Pandaria Rare Mobs for Achievement Glorious!

(BETA, the Bot has some Problems to kill them)

If one of these Objects or Mobs came in reach, Rarekiller will take control over your toon and aggro the searched Mobs or collect the searched things. Rarekiller is also able to Interact with NPCs (like Blingtron and NPCs of Another Mans Treasure) or Tame Hunter Pets.

NOTE: Rarekiller will only pull the searched Mobs with a Spell to get Aggro of the Mob. The Fight had to be handled by your Combat Routine. So check that you also have a good working Combat Routine.

Installation from Zip-File 1. Download the Zip-File of the Rarekiller Thread and copy it to the Folder Plugins in your

Honorbuddy Folder. 2. Extract the Plugin in the Plugins Folder (Rightclick on the Zip-File extract here)

It should now look like this:

3. Attention: enable Auto Dismount in your WOW

4. Start Honorbuddy, log in and wait, till the Initialization of HB is done 5. Activate Enhanced Mode and then click on the Button Plugins

6. Tick the Checkbox on the Name Rarekiller the Plugin is now enabled

7. If you mark the Line Rarekiller and press the Button Settings below, the Setup Window of Rarekiller is shown and you can set up, which things you want Rarekiller to hunt/search for you See next chapter

8. Select a Botbase (in most cases Gatherbuddy 2 is the one to use) select a Profile for the searched things (you find Several of them in the Forum and in the Folder some Profiles of Rarekiller and you can additionally ask me ) Users of the German Version of HB: Instead of Gatherbuddy2 you can use the FlyAround-Bot with your GB2-Profiles: http://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorbuddy-forum/plugins/movement/131399-flyaround-botbase-honorbuddyde.html

9. Attentione: disable Framelock in your HB settings 10. Press Start in HB

Note: In the Zipfile is also a svn File included, so if you know, how to use svn, it is also possible to update the Plugin via svn from now on.

SVN Installation

1. Install a SVN (I personally use TortoiseSVN) 2. Create a Folder in your Plugins Folder of Honorbuddy named Rarekiller 3. Right Click on it and click SVN Checkout 4. Use this Link for Checkout (a) is normal Version, b) is BETA Version):

The Setup Window

Description of the different Parts:

Tab One Rarekiller: Raremob Killer

If you check these Boxes the Bot will kill: o Mists of Pandaria Rare Mobs (this is BETA !!!)

Here you have to set up on Tab 2 which Mobs you exactly want to hunt o Rare Mobs of Cataclysm o Rare Mobs for Achievement Frostbitten (you find them in Northend) o Rare Mobs for Achievement Bloody Rare (you find them in Outlands). o With All classic Rare Mobs he will hunt every single Rare of Level 1-60. o In the Line Hunt by Id you can Rarekiller let hunt every Mob you want. Simply

insert the ID in the field.

Mounts If you check these Boxes he will hunt:

o Timelost Protodrake for the Mount o Poseidus for the Mount o Collect Camel Figurines - He will collect Camel Figurines in Uldum and if he gets

ported he will kill Dormus in Feralas.

Mobs with Problems Sometimes the bot has Problems to kill these two Mobs. so you can disable killing them:

o Vyragosa is a flying range Mob. So sometimes if a Melee meets Vyragosa and has a bad combat Routine the toon will do nothing while Vyragose shoots him down, while staying out of Range

o Blazewing is a very fast flying Mob. Often the bot isnt fast enough to reach him

Collector If you check these Boxes the Bot will collect:

o Objects for the Achievement Another Mans Treasure (2 of them the Bot is not able to collect: xxxxx and xxxxx)

o Dark Soil o Raptor Nests in Classic WOW World for Raptor Battle Pets o Blingtron 4000 to get the Daylie Gift

The Tamer If you check these Boxes the Bot will tame Rares for your Hunter:

o Tame Pets from XML Simply insert your hunted Pets in the File Rarekiller/config/TameableMobs.xml and the Bot will tame them for you NOTE: If you use SVN Checkout, you have to unzip the Config Files to use the Tamer See next Chapter Per default implemented to the List:

o dont kill tameable Mobs so Rarekiller will not accidently pull the tameable mobs and kill them

o In the Line Tame by Id you can Rarekiller let tame every Mob you want. Simply insert the ID in the field.

o Footprints MoP (Beta): If you check this Box Rarekiller will search for Footprints of the Pandaria Rares. Once he founds one he will fly to the Footprint and Alert every 20 Seconds. NOTE: No AFK Able taming possible at the Moment.

Configurable XMLs For expert Users I implemented some Lists to insert every single Mob, Object or NPC to the hunting List of Rarekiller you want. NOTE: If you used SVN Checkout to install Rarekiller, you have first to extract the Zipfile ConfigFiles.zip in the Rarekiller/config-Folder. It should now look like this:

o File CollectObjects.xml Here you can insert every Object you want Rarekiller to interact with

o File InteractNPC.xml Here you can insert every NPC you want Rarekiller to interact with

o File KillMobs.xml Rarekiller will kill these Mobs if they are not tagged by another Player

o File TaggedMobs.xml Rarekiller will kill these Mobs, only if they are tagged by another Player

o File TameableMobs.xml Rarekiller will tame these Mobs

o File Blacklisted Mobs Here you can Blacklist Mobs permanently Rarekiller will not pull or tame them anymore.

Tab Two - MoP Rare Mobs

In this Tab you can choose which Pandaria Mobs you want the Bot do kill. They are ordered by Race and by Level.

Button Check all This Button will check the Pandaria Rares which I believe the Bot is able to kill. (Tested with good Equipped Shaman) The Pandaria Rares, where my toon has big Problems to kill, will stay unchecked and you had to check them manually to hunt them on your own Risk.

Button Uncheck all This Button will uncheck all MoP Rares on one Klick.

NOTE:

You have to check additionally MoP Rare Mobs (BETA) on the First Tab to let the Mob hunt these Rares.

To hunt Pandaria Rares you need a good equipped Char and a very good combat Routine to get the Kill. It helps if the Combat Routine is able to handle Pets (Shaman Elementals for example) or Heroism and similar Spells. It is also recommended to deactivate the Interrupt of your Combat Routine. Because Rarekiller needs the Interrupt Spells to interrupt special Abilities of the Rares. Some Classes need to Skill special Talents for interrupt:

If the Bot is not able to Kill a Rare he will only try it 3 Times. Then the Bot will Blacklist the Rare and additionally deactivate the Checkbox in the second Tab. So if you want to know after an AFK session where the Bot had Problems, you can open the Settings Window and take a look if there are automatically unchecked Boxes. Save these Settings to prevent the Bot from trying to kill your personal problem Mobs.

Tab Three - Slowfall and other Behavior:

Slowfall Behavior Here you can set up a Slowfall Behavior for your Toon. This is mainly if Rarekiller had to pull Flying Mobs like Timelost Protodrake, to prevent the toon from dying. Per Default the Bot will try to use Levitate of Priest, Slow Fall of Mage and Snowfall Lager (an Item you can get in Stormwind Peak). If you want the Bot to use other Abilities if falling down, you can set them up here.

o Use Slowfall Spell Here you can insert another Spell you want Rarekiller to use if he falls down NOTE: You have to set him up in English

o Use Cloak Here you can let the Bot use a Cloak if he falls down (Mainly for Ingi)

o Use Item Here you can let the bot use an Item if he falls down NOTE: You have to set up the Item in your WOW Client Language !!!

o Falltimer If the Bot falls longer then this time, he will use the Item. This is to prevent the Bot from using the Items on every single Jump. Jump to see if you have to fit this to higher time. This time has no influence if the Bot finds the Timelost Protodrake.

Customize Pullspell Per default Rarekiller will use these Spells to pull a Mob:

If you want Rarekiller to use another Spell you can configure your own one here. NOTE: It has to be an instant Spell without any addictions to, for example, rage or Paladin Seals. You have to set up the spell in the Language English and check the spelling twice !!!

ANTI AFK This Feature will klick the A or D Button after a Random Time to avoid going AFK while camping for a Mob

Shadowmeld This Feature will activate Shadowmeld while camping on one Place to prevent your toon getting killed while camping on PvP-Servers

Player around If you activate this Feature Rarekiller will not collect Objects or interact with NPCs where are already Players around.

Blacklist Timer If Rarekiller is not able to get close enough to the searched Thing during this Time he will Blacklist it and Move on. This is to avoid circle around bottish while trying to reach your searched things.

Alert Here you can set up on which events the Bot will Alert and which Sounds he should play then.

o Alert if he found a searched Thing o LUA-Output to the chat Window of your WOW o Alert if he gets a Wisper o Alert if he gets a Battle Net Wisper o Alert if he somebody writes something in the Guild Chat

(for small personal Guilds) With the Button Sound Test he will play the Sound set up for Found a thing. This is mainly to check the Volume of your Sound.

Button - Default Values: This Button will set the values to the default ones came with Rarekiller.

Button - Save: This Button will save your Settings to the Folder: Settings/Realm/Playername/Rarekiller.config.

Easy Setups for often used Cases:

First of all install and enable the Plugin: 1. Download the Zip-File of the Rarekiller Thread and copy it to the Folder Plugins in your

3. Start Honorbuddy, log in and wait till the Init of HB is done 4. Klick on Enhanced Mode and then on Plugins

Timelost Protodrake: 7. Open the Setup Window 8. Check if Timelost Protodrake (Part Mounts) is activated 9. Go to third Tab and check is Use Slowfall is activated 10. Save the Settings 11. Get some Snowfall Lager (you should buy 10-20).

You can buy it from Vendor Olut Alegut (Horde) or Rork Sharpchin (Alliance) in Stormpeaks. It costs 2 Relic of Ulduar.

12. Select Gatherbuddy 2 as Botbase and TLPD - Bors Breath - GB2.xml as Profile. You find it in the Folder some Profiles in the Rarekiller Folder. 13. to be sure everything is working correct you can test the Settings on Chillmaw in Icecrown see next Chapter

14. Press Start in HB

Test with Chillmaw To verify if your Settings are correct simply test the thing on Chillmaw in Icecrown.

7. Open the Setup Window 8. Activate Hunt by ID and insert 33687 to the Textbox 9. Go to third Tab and check is Use Slowfall is activated 10. Save the Settings 11. Get some Snowfall Lager (you should buy 10-20).

12. Select a Grindbot as Botbase and Empty Profile.xml as Profile. You find it in the Folder some Profiles in the Rarekiller Folder.

13. Press Start in HB 14. Fly with your Toon near Chillmaw in Icecrown. The Bot should now kill her.

If you use Snowfall Lager as Slowfall Ability he will print you are not in the right Zone in your WOW, because he tried to use it. Verify if this is also happening !!!

Camel Figurine 7. Open the Setup Window 8. Check if Collect Camel Figurines (Part Mounts) is activated 9. Save the Settings 10. Select a Gatherbuddy 2 as Botbase and Camel Figurine Small Route - GB2.xml as

11. Press Start in HB

NOTE:

Dont circle around several Hours with the same Profile to prevent your account from being banned and dont gather besides searching for the Camel Figurines. Change the Profiles from time to time or record own ones with ZapRacorder2 Plugin, you can find in the Forum of HB.

Poseidus You can record them with ZapRecorder2 Plugin, you can find in the Forum of HB.

7. Open the Setup Window 8. Check if Collect Camel Figurines (Part Mounts) is activated 9. Save the Settings 10. Select a Gatherbuddy 2 as Botbase and select your Profile.

11. Press Start in HB

Old Setup together with Profile Changer:

NOTE: This Setup has Problems near Nesparia at the Moment with some Buggy Areas in WOW. So at the Moment use your own recorded Profiles in Vashijr and attend the same things about Circle Around for hours like described in Chapter above (Camel Figurine)!!!

7. Get my other Plugin Profile Changer from the Forum and install it too 8. Open the Setup Window 9. Check if Poseidus (Part Mounts) is activated 10. Save the Settings 11. Open the Settings of Profile Changer 12. Activate first Line and choose Profile Poseidus - Quel Dormir - GB2.xml

insert a Time between 3 and 15 Minutes 13. Activate second Line and choose Profile Poseidus - Bielaran Ridge - GB2.xml

insert a Time between 3 and 15 Minutes 14. Activate second Line and choose Profile Poseidus - Thelserat Temple - GB2.xml

insert a Time between 3 and 15 Minutes 15. Activate second Line and choose Profile Poseidus - Glimmerdeep Gorge - GB2.xml

insert a Time between 3 and 15 Minutes 16. Activate second Line and choose Profile Poseidus - Underlight Canyon - GB2.xml

18. Press Start in HB

MOP Rares of 5.1: 1. Open the Setup Window 2. On the first Tap enable MOP Rare Mobs 3. Go to second Tab and enable the Mobs you want to kill 4. The Button Check all will check all Mobs Im sure HB is able to kill 5. Select Gatherbuddy 2 as Botbase

4. Search a Profile for Pandaria in the HB Forum 5. Press Start in HB

Bot Save:

First: We all know Botting is against the Rules. So dont bot on an Account you cant afford to lose.

I know many People use this Plugin to get the Rare Mounts on their Main accounts. Please don't get slaphappy if you use this Plugin on your Main. There are many ways to look like normal Player while camping special Rares. Just take some Minutes and think about how would you camp this Rare Mob without Bot and try to Set up your Bot that he also acts like you would do.

Circle around 24/7 the exact same Route over and over for days or maybe also for hours is very risky. Take some breaks between camping sessions.

If you don't need it, don't let your Bot farm herbs and ore beside camping. He will look like a farmer and after some days or maybe just some hours surely he will attract attention of others.

If you want to play save, don't leave your Bot alone at home. Turn the Alerts on and your Boxes loud to wake up, if the Bot gets into trouble.

In my Opinion it is more humanlike to use a Profile with only one fix Hotspot to camp special Rares. If you additional check "ANTI-AFK" on the Second Tab of Rarekiller you will look like a Person who is watching TV beside camping.
