Randle Bollinger: Professional Services Summary

I believe in the ideals cleantech companies strive for, seeking corporate interactions that can bring these new technologies into the marketplace. Through two decades of investment banking experience and structuring the transactions that give new businesses a start, my focus remains on the bridges needed between eco-conscious innovation and participation with the companies already leading industry.

Cooperation holds much more potential than disruption.

Through an investment career allowing me a generalist perspective on markets and trends, my experience provides a global focus on cleantech for improving some traditional features in domestic US markets.

Specifically, I develop strategies that achieve profitability using service contracts to convert waste materials, allowing cleantech companies (specifically petroleum and chemical production) to earn cash flow and profits before relying on venture capital or giving ownership to equity investors. Transactional and advisory experience bolsters a passion for helping entrepreneurs participate in the future of the technology they developed, relying heavily on joint ventures with strategic and financial players.

My passion and attitude has helped me to attract and retain colleagues at every level of industry across all continents. Connecting with needed players for geopolitics, international banking, local staffing or leaders in regional energy markets remains a resource available to all my clients.

Good answers benefit from advisors, good strategies require them.

Summarizing a Trajectory

Developing Rural Focus

iii

Each project I pursue increases my understanding that not only can cleantech and eco-friendly businesses be profitable, but effective on small scales too. Creating webs of companies focused on a local community continues to provide amazing potential in rebuilding rural economies. We can reverse the brain drain and improve Life.

An Example Possible Now: Oil and gas production earns the revenues by converting waste materials into products that subsidize local fuel costs and increase the sustainability of local agriculture. When the majority of profits stay local through reinvestment, this creates opportunities to support local agriculture and improve healthcare that hold long term benefits for education and standard of living which increase productivity. Insisting on transparency and sustainability in every market ensures that local profits spread through the entire community.

Reinvesting in community business and infrastructure reduces needs for charity and unleashes local economies to provide for themselves. Experience and education have demonstrated this has great value in rural American economies. Urgently, this has critical implications for developing economies and crisis areas, especially those most sensitive in African nations. Sharing solutions also reduces the need for legal fees.

I don’t need my clients to want this, just to know where I’m headed. I’ll make the case through my performance.

Experience

There has been an arc to my experiences, providing one of the joys in Life - professional development has not dominated, but intersected with interests and instincts that guide much of my personal journey as well.

Developing strategies and businesses that benefit all stakeholders remains a passion that grows through each experience.
