A year after winning the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year award,

Rams QB Sam Bradfords second NFL season was slowed by a

high ankle sprain that caused him to miss six contests. Bradford

passed for 2,164 yards with six touchdowns and six interceptions in

    10 games in 2011.

Bradford turned in two 300-yard performances early in the season.

consecutive games, a new career long. He had sacks in four straightgames in 2010.

Prior to Week 7, the Rams made a

move to upgrade their receiver corps

as they sent an undisclosed draft pick

to the Denver Broncos in exchange for

    WR Brandon Lloyd.

The move has paid immediate divi-

dends. Lloyd caught six passes for 74

yards in his St. Louis debut against

Dallas, and he totaled 51 receptions for

683 yards and five touchdowns after

S Quintin Mikell, who signed with the

Rams as a free agent this summer,

provided an impact on the St. Louis

    defense. The nine-year veteran was

one of three Rams defenders to start

all 16 games, and he was a part of five

    takeaways this season.

    Mikell finished second among Rams

with 100 tackles, trailing only James

Laurinaitis in stops. Mikell also hadone sack, two interceptions and four

    forced fumbles.His interception in

Week 10 led to a Rams touchdown

    against Seattle.

Mikell, who spent his first eight NFL seasons with the Eagles, boasts

career totals of 5.0 sacks and 12 interceptions.

    WELCOME ABOARD

S Quintin Mikell celebrates an inter-ception with his teammates.

If you want to find Rams MLB James Laurinaitis on the football field,

one can often simply follow the ball because the third-year pro seemsto always be around it. Laurinaitis was again the Rams leader in

tackles as he racked up 142 in his third NFL season. It was his third-consecutive 100-tackle season.

Laurinaitis has proven to be a valuable defender against both the run

and the pass. He recorded 3.0 sacks and two interceptions this sea-

son, and he was second among Rams with eight passes defensed onthe year. He also had four quarterback pressures, two quarterback hits

    and one fumble recovery.

Laurinaitis, due in part to his ability to play the run and pass at a high

level, rarely comes off the field. He played a team-high 1,052 snapsin 2011.

    MAN IN THE MIDDLE

Linebacker James Laurinaitis once again finds himself atop the Rams list of leading tacklers.

WR/PR Nick Miller was preparing to

spend Thanksgiving with his family in

Arizona when he got a call to head to St.

Louis to join the Rams, and Miller made

a big impact just a few days later in his

    Rams debut.

In the first quarter of the Rams Week

12 game against the Cardinals, Miller

returned a punt 88 yards for a touchdown.

The score was Millers first of his career

and is tied for the third-longest punt return

in Rams history. It was the first punt

returned for a touchdown by a Ram since

Dante Hall did so in 2007.

Miller, who spent parts of three seasons with the Oakland Raiders,

was on the Rams roster for two weeks earlier this season but didnt

appear in a game with St. Louis until Week 12.

    RETURN TO SENDER

    WR/PR Nick Miller

The Rams used the 14th overall pick in lastyears draft on a young pass rusher who theyhoped would help them get after the quarter-back, and DE Robert Quinn showed why hewas highly coveted in April.

On the season, Quinn recorded 5.0 sacksand finished second among Rams with 14quarterback hits, trailing only Chris Longs16. Quinn logged three quarterback pres-sures, two passes defensed and forced afumble during his rookie campaign.

In addition to his role on defense, Quinn was an asset on specialteams. Against the Bengals in Week 15, he partially blocked a punt, which was the third time this season he either blocked or partiallyblocked a punt. In Week 8, Quinn blocked a punt that led to a Ramstouchdown and sacked Drew Brees. Quinn was named NFC SpecialTeams Player of the Week for his efforts against the Saints.

Quinn tied Sean Gilbert (5.0 in 1992) for the third most sacks by arookie in Rams history.

    RUSHING ROBERT

    DE Robert Quinn

Rams CB Josh Gordy led the Rams with

three interceptions in 2011, including one

in two of the teams final three games.

Gordy started nine games on the season.

The Rams signed him to their practice

squad prior to Week 1 and signed him to

the active roster in Week 3. Gordy previ-

ously spent time with Green Bay and

Jacksonville. He was on the Packers

roster during the teams Super Bowl run

    late last season.
