period may impact on their data presented in the Report.
• The correctness of data from the RAMHP App relies on the accurate
data entry of the RAMHP Coordinators.

I met an older woman who had
recently returned to the workforce
and was feeling discriminated
against at work. I encouraged her
to speak to her manager and to
access EAP.
I met a woman who expressed concern
about her elderly mother who has bipolar
and, more recently, dementia. The elderly
woman is now in a nursing home and the
woman I spoke with expressed feelings of
powerless to help. I encourage her to
advocate for her mother, but also explored
the need to look after herself in the process.
We talked about online forums as well as
accessing carer support services.
I was approached during a community event
by a woman who had lost her son to suicide
five years ago. She has ongoing concerns
about her husband and how he is managing
his grief. I referred her to a carers support
group and explained the Standby service.
I spoke with someone who had recently
found out they have a brain tumour. They felt
very fearful and alone. I encouraged them to
speak to EAP or a private psychologist. I
also normalised their feelings and
encouraged them to reach out for help from
others if needed. We had a big talk about
how difficult this person finds it to ask for
help.
I helped a woman looking for services to transfer
her care from Sydney for ongoing anxiety and an
eating disorder. I provided information about a
GP MHTP and referral to a local psychologist. I
also actively linked the woman to the Family &
Carer Mental Health Program for ongoing
support. I received a call from someone
concerned about their friend. The
friends husband recently had a
stroke and has become violent. I
encouraged them to speak with their
friend about accessing carers
supports, as well as speak to their
GP and specialists about at home
support including a safety plan.
