Heritage is not something that is gained overnight or to be used merely as a marketing word to push a product. Heritage is earned. Heritage is storied. Heritage is passed down from generation to generation. It’s a vital piece in any lineage; the groundwork of any timeline, and the basis of tradition.

We don’t use the word heritage lightly. We use it with the respect and pride that can only come from a company that has spanned generations. Keeping an ideal and a presence requires diligence, perseverance and a passion for what you believe in and what you do.

It’s the pride in our heritage that you’ll find in our 2011 line of bicycles. New bicycles that embrace the latest technology, but remain true to who we make our bikes for. Steel Bicycles that speak to our history but are not mired in the past. Contemporary commuters made for modern urban environments, that retain the class and sophistication of the originals.

It is our desire to represent, improve, and build upon this storied Heritage for generations to follow.

RE2P (Relaxed Ergonomic Effective Position) geometry: Designed for the new Revenio, our Raleigh-exclusive RE2P creates a more confident, upright position that reduces body stress and fatigue to achieve an overall increase in performance. The result is an all-day ride that strikes a perfect balance of speed, efficiency and comfort. Achieving this blend requires manipulating the shape of each lightweight butted Atomic 13 SL aluminum tube to its optimal form for function. Adding our own RE2P geometry reduces the reach to the handlebars, lowers the stand over, and gives a more upright position that produces a ride that is unmatched for miles of enjoyment.

THIS IS WHERE IT ALL BEGAN.This is our Past, our Present, and our Future. This is where Raleigh took a simple passion and turned it into 123 years of history. Bikes like our very first fixed gear ignited the passion for movement well before the first horseless carriage. Our steel bikes carried Grand Tour heroes along with World Champions to victory and inspired many bike manufacturers to weld together their first bike. It is the bikes we make today that will live on to see future generations discover a simple two-wheeled machine, and to continue the love affair we’ve had with them from the beginning.
