Tower Collocation

RailTel provides Tower colocation facilities to Telecom operators for mobile BTS at its towers. The towers available with RailTel are ideally placed at central locations in cities/towns & rural areas providing coverage to large number of population around it. RailTels tower are available with height of usually 30-100 mtrs. With capability to support multiple BTS colocations. With the advent of micro BTS concept requiring only pole mount in the case of 3G/4G BTS, RailTel also provides pole mount facilities at its Pops on roof top of its buildings/stations. Most of these sites are equipped to provide fiber based redundant backhaul capacities, 24x7 power supply, shelter, security, etc. at all these sites.

Rack and Space Collocation

RailTel facilitates co-location for equipment of telecom operators at its Pops mostly located at Railway stations. Most of the Pops in cities have Railway MW towers suitable for installation of antenna for GSM/CDMA BTS, MW access radios, Wimax/WiFi BTS & last mile access. RailTel provides for complete infrastructure with air-conditioned equipment space, power supply, DG back up & in secured railway environment. NLD for Voice Carriage

RailTel is the only neutral player in the country to roll out the State of the Art NGN (Next Generation Switching Network) based Class 4 switch for carrying NLD traffic across the country. NGN converges the traditional voice data & video on to a Single packet (IP) infrastructure & enables Triple Play services on the same network to the customer.
