RAILROAD BRIDGE 5K INSTRUCTIONS – VIRTUAL RACE COURSE

Railroad Bridge 5K / 10K Course is all marked and ready for VIRTUAL participants! Note you do not have to participant on the same course in order to complete the VIRTUAL RAILROAD BRIDGE RUN. It is just set up for people who would like to run the actual course.

The race course is as follows: ***PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS NOT A CLOSED COURSE. TRAFFIC HAS THE RIGHT OF WAY. ALWAYS LOOK BOTH WAYS FOR TRAFFIC BEFORE CROSSING ANY ROADS*** The entire course is on the Olympic Discovery Trail. Follow the signs for the Olympic Discovery Trail. - Start on the WEST side of Railroad Bridge (same starting line as 2019).

- Run WEST (towards Port Angeles) on the Olympic Discovery Trail. - Cross over East Runnion Road onto Sawmill Road. - Cross over Heath Road staying on the Olympic Discovery Trail. - Mile Marker 1 will be on your Right (before Banana Way).

- Cross over Carlsborg Road (VERY BUSY ROAD.. BE CAREFUL) and continue on the Olympic Discovery Trail.

- The 5K Turnaround will be on the SOUTH side of the trail (left hand side).

-Turn around and head East back towards Railroad Bridge the same way that you came. - Cross over Carlsborg Road (VERY BUSY ROAD.. BE CAREFUL) and continue on the Olympic Discovery Trail. - Mile 2 will be on your right (before Banana Way).

-Cross over Heath Road onto Sawmill Road staying the Olympic Discovery Trail (right hand side) - Cross over East Runnion Road staying the Olympic Discovery Trail. - Mile 3 will be on your right before Railroad Bridge
