Achievements, failures & challenges
ACHIEVEMENTS:
The Galician Met-Ocean coastal network is still working.
Long data series (especially in fixed stations).
Emergency plans work properly.
Maintenance plans work almost properly (in summer).
Data available and used for forecasting and a few specific
apps/products.
-
Achievements, failures & challenges
FAILURES:
Some buoy’s drifts.
Gaps in the data series.
Impossible to perform a good maintenance service during winter.
Losses of instrumentation (accidents, vandalism).
