We a%ended the forum in Criciúma and our lecture drew the a%en5on of par5cipants not only due to the theme of technology but also due to the appeal of sustainability and innova5on. Once again we had a very big par5cipa5on of the professionals from the South of Brazil during the event and RadTech brought again the most recent news and trends of UV Curing technology to the market. Basic Course in April 2014 Great success with almost 30 professionals
par&cipa&ng
We held our basic introductory course in radia5on curing technology at our headquarters at IPEN -‐ USP in Sao Paulo last April and we count on the par5cipa5on of many professionals. In addi5on to the technical sessions we also had the opportunity of prac5cal demonstra5ons in the laboratory of UV curing from IPEN. We had demonstra5ons with UV, LED UV and Radiometry. As a result of this course we had an evalua5on by par5cipants as EXCELLENT by more than 90% of the total. Besides this we had a survey of what the professionals want to see in the upcoming events of RadTech South America during 2014.

Accelerated drying of water-‐dispersible polyurethane blends
Mixtures of water-‐dispersible isocyanate and polyol-‐terminated oligomers were blended with methacrylate-‐terminated urethanes and a water-‐dispersible photoini5ator to accelerate the dry 5me of thin polymer films. Thermomechanical proper5es of the polyurethane blends were measured using dynamic mechanical analysis. Kine5cs of the ultraviolet-‐ini5ated radical polymeriza5on reac5on and the polyol/isocyanate addi5on reac5on were monitored using a%enuated total reflectance.
