Radio Analysis 3 The O2 advert I listened to was a simple, promotional and informative advert about O2 priority, it provided a lot of information about what you would receive and how to receive it. The overall message of the advert was telling potential customers the benefits they would receive with joining O2. The voices used were made to sound like someone who would announce bands before they played which related to the advert because the advert was about how you could get early access to bands if you were on O2, there were also sound effects used of screaming crowds to relate to that. There wasn’t a tagline used in the advertisement but O2 was repeated quite a lot to get it drummed into the audiences head so you would remember them. The companies name was mentioned 3 times each advert following the rule of 3’s that if something is said 3 times you remember it more. There wasn’t any contact details mentioned but obviously O2 is such a big brand they don’t need to advertise contact details because the audience knows how to contact them already. The music used in the background was from the band/ artist that it was advertising you could get early access to through O2 to make you want to switch to their company. The advert overall was good and informative and put its message across well, but I think the advert could be a bit more dynamic.

Radio Analysis 3

The O2 advert I listened to was a simple, promotional and informative advert about O2 priority, it provided a lot of information about what you would receive and how to receive it.
