The RADIIS family offers innovative outdoor accent lighting, developed

based on the same principles as Louis Poulsen’s renowned

IPR products.

In line with Louis Poulsen’s lighting philosophy,

the products are so flexible that they can always

help create atmospheric and balanced lighting

solutions, both close to buildings and in their

immediate surroundings. The broad range and

excellent performance fulfil the functional aspects.

The comfort aspects are dealt with by considering the

project and analysing the lighting requirements, while

ambience is created by drawing on experience to address the mood,

aesthetics and natural environment in a creative way.

RADIIS is an in-ground family with a broad range of optical systems in

two sizes, and LED light sources with a variety of lumen packages, ready

to handle a wide range of projects and challenges.

RADIIS 210 is a strong solution and ideal for illuminating large and small

targets in public spaces – buildings, trees, sculptures, and much more.

Places that demand lighting with strong performance.

RADIIS 109 is a compact light machine. An outer diameter of only 166

mm and low recess depth make it an ideal solution for a wide variety of

projects. Its small size makes it ideal for placement close to buildings,

trees and bushes.

The RADIIS family has a very innovative optical

system, developed to meet the varying challenges

in modern and creative lighting design.

The optical chamber offers three function options:

1. Adjustable light beam

2. Zoom version

3. Gimbal mounting

This makes the RADIIS family the perfect lighting

tool for creating excellent, enduring lighting expe-

riences.

RADIIS 210 GIMBAL offers a choice of three light

angles, while the RADIIS 109 GIMBAL offers two

light angles.

The Radiis 210 Zoom optics can

be adjusted so the light cone shines

on a vertical surface at an angle of

up to 20°.

All RADIIS 109 models come with the same installation box.

Every detail has been thought out – from durability to ease of

installation.

For installation using an external driver, various junction box-

es are available, depending on the cable dimensions.

The RADIIS 109 stainless steel top ring is available in a round

or square version, while the RADIIS 210 only has a round

stainless steel top ring.

The top rings can be mounted in two ways:

Semi-flush or flush.

The adjustable optics in the zoom versions ensure the

lighting can always be set perfectly. The light can literally

grow with the job. For example, illumination of newly

planted trees can be adapted to their growth over the

years, covering everything from the sapling to the fully

grown tree.

RADIIS 210 Zoom has the following adjustment settings:

17°, 26°, 42° and 62°. RADIIS 109 Zoom has the following

adjustment settings: 15°, 32°, 53° and 63°.

The gimbal mounted RADIIS 210 GIMBAL allows the pro-

jector/optical unit to be set at an angle of up to 40°.

RADIIS 109 GIMBAL can be set at an angle of up to 20°.

The RADIIS GIMBAL fi xtures are professional lighting

tools that can be set with extreme precision and uniform

light distribution, such that each detail on a building

facade etc. can be precisely illuminated.

The RADIIS 109 version is also available with a COB LED

The RADIIS family gives architects and lighting designers a

unique tool for creating optimum atmospheric lighting so-

lutions. The ideal combination of function, comfort and

ambience is based on experience and close cooperation

with people who have a strong respect for the balance be-

tween these factors in their projects. The aim is to strike

the right balance between light, people and architecture

The result is an improved feel-good factor.

A unique tool

RADIIS fixtures have been tested for use, including under

extreme conditions, as climate change is leading to increas-

ing challenges everywhere. All Louis Poulsen’s outdoor

products undergo extensive testing to ensure they can with-

stand extreme climate conditions.

The various IP classifications cover different tests. The fact

that a product has a high IP rating (e.g. 68) does not mean

all classifications below IP 68 have been met. Products have

to be tested for each classification in order to carry the

designation.

IP66.Dustproof and protected against water ingress at a pressure of up to 100 kN/m2 from a distance of 3 metres, for 3 minutes.

IP68.The same test as IP67, but the fi x-ture has to be able to keep water out indefi nitely, with water pres-sure corresponding to a depth of 1 metre.

IP69K.Dustproof and protected against in-gress by water at 80°C with a pres-sure of up to 10 MN/m2 and a water fl ow of 14-16 l/min from a distance of 10 cm for 30 seconds at angles of 0°, 30°, 60° and 90° with a rotation of 5 rpm.

Three types of light systems – zoom, lens and wall washer – together with direction adjustment options and colour and tone filters, make it possible to illuminate buildings, vegetation, signs, etc. in an effective and interesting way, while promoting a sense of security.
