Race Regulations The race will be run under the Technical Regulations of British Cycling and the specific regulations of the British Cycling Elite Road Series 2015.

Race Management The race will operate under Traffic Regulation Orders facilitated by Police Escort, National Escort Group, British Cycling Accredited Marshals and Volunteer Marshals. Key points on the route will also be controlled by traffic management operators. The start/finish area is subject to a total road closure throughout the race and the section of course from Rivington to Belmont (including the hill prime location) is subject to a one way traffic order in the race direction. Unless specifically indicated otherwise, all junctions and roundabouts must be negotiated in the correct direction.

Service Servicing and feeding from team cars will be ON THE LEFT. This will be strictly enforced. The race organisation will provide 2 neutral service cars whose position in the race convoy will be determined by the Chief Commissaire.

Time cut-off A time cut-off will be operated at the completion of each lap. Any rider(s) who are more than 7 minutes behind the main field at this point will be withdrawn. In addition, and subject to the situation of the race, riders who fall significantly behind the main field elsewhere on the circuit may be instructed to withdraw. A broom vehicle will be provided to transport riders not continuing in the race back to the start/finish area.

Feed Zone The feed zone is located on Euxton Lane outside Runshaw College and is denoted by Feed Zone Start and End signs. Adequate parking is available off the road for team vehicles. Feeding must take place ON THE LEFT. PLEASE respect the residents of this area and remove any discarded items prior to leaving the feed zone. There will be no feeding on the final lap allowing adequate opportunity for team personnel to return to the start/finish area.

Chorley Group King of the Mountains Competition There will be a prime for the King of the Mountains classification on each lap. The prime point is shown on the circuit map (page 8). The first three riders across the prime line will score points 3, 2, 1. The winner of the competition will be the rider with the largest points score. In the event of a tie, the number of prime wins shall be the decider.
