Meet the Coaches

Kristiana swam four seasons for WKU where she finaled multiple times in the 200 fly, 200 IM, and 100 back, with a runner-up finish in the 200 fly in 2011. In highschool Kristian swam for Sullivan South High School in Kingsport, TN, where she was All-Conference, and All-American. Kristiana is working on her graduate degree in psychology.

Coach Will swam for the Vette City Stingrays before joining RACE. During his swim career he qualified for Age Group state multiple times. Will also swam for Greenwood High School where he qualified the the state meet his junior and senior year, and held team records. Coach Will is currently a WKU honors student.

Darrick is an experienced professional coach in both USA swimming and NCAA division I programs. Darrick’s has over 20 years coaching experience with WKU, Vette City Stingrays, Lexington Y-Dolphins, Lakeside Seahawks, and Zionsville, IN USA swim team and High School team. Darrick has coached individual All-Americans, National qualifiers, Olympic Trials qualifiers, and state champions, as well as teams that have won sectional championships, and had top state finish placement. Darrick is also the head coach of the Warren County High School swim teams.

Coach Andrew was a High School regioal champion and team MVP swimming for Allen County-Scottsville HS. He continued his swimming at WKU competing in relays and swimming mostly freestyle and butterfly. Not only coaching for RACE, Andrew coaches the Scottsville YMCA team, which competes against Southland every summer, and also coaches for the Warren County Swim Team.
