These operating instructions have been made for the operators of the RA 410 E.

Danger of electric shock!
The usage of the the auto scrubbing machine is subjected to national regulations.After the operating instructions and the nationales rules for safety in the work place, we also recommend that the unwritten rules of safe working be respected. Using the auto scrubber on public roads, paths and any other outdoor surface is prohibited.
All auto scrubbers are destined for wet cleaning of waterproof surfaces inside of buildings.
● Handy Scrubber for all hard floors in households andsmall businesses.
● All other usage is considered improper. The manu- facturer takes no responsablility for damages due to
the improper use of the auto scrubber. The user takesthe entire risk for damages due to improper use.
● Respecting the operation, maintenance and repairsinstructions are also an important part of the properoperation.
● The appropriate accident prevention rules, as well asother known regulations for health and safety inoperation, must be respected.
● Any unaquthorised modification to the auto scrubberwill result in refusal of the manufacturer to take anyguarantee or responsability for damage that mayoccur as a result of those changes.
● Check the suitability of floor surfaces before using themachine.
● Check that the wheels will not damage the surface ofany plastic surfaces especially in gymnasiums.
● Should the auto scrubber be miss-used, the manu- facturer will not be responsible for any form of
guarantee.
The operator of the machine is strictly informed that the auto scrubber is only to be used according to the operating instructions. Should the autoscrubber not be operated properly, this happens at the own risc and own liability of the operator. In such a case any form of guarantee is refused by the manufactuer.
● At standstill the scrubber must Brush unit will be shutdown immediately, so No floor covering damage caused.
● Care should be taken when driving the machine overthresholds or sills as damage may occur to thebrushes, wheels and squeegee assembly. It isadvisable to lift the brushes and the squeegee.
● The working place of the operator is behind the pushbar of the machine.
● The auto scrubber may only be maintained by autho- rised specialists who have full training on the
maintenance of the auto scrubber.
● Please always consult correct use and safetyprecautions as detailed on the manufacturers label. Ifnecessary wear appropriate clothing and safetyglasses.
● Only use low foaming an non-inflammable cleaningagents which do not included hazardouscomponents.
● We emphasise the danger of using inflammable,poisonous, hazardous and explosive cleaning agents.
● On delivery of this machine full training will normallybe provided by representative of the manufacturer.
● Where this is not the case, the owner is responsiblefor training their staff.

1. Before operation
To assure a safe transport the units are packed to different size boxes. Open the box and checked the containts. Make sure that all the equipment listed below is included in the box:
● Floor cleaning machine● Water discharge hose● Extension cable 20 metres● Water bucket, 12 litres● Pushbar● Tank cover● 2 Suction hoses● Operation instructions● Safety regulations
1.1 Assembling the pushbar
☞ Dismount the screws ( A ) from the joints of the lower pushbar.☞ Place the joints of the upper pushbar into the lower.☞ Adjust the pushbar to the con-
veniant height and fix it bypulling the two screws ( A )tightly.
1.2 Attaching the vacuum hoses
☞ Place cover onto the tank and fix the hoses to thesockets on the tank cover
1.3 Electrical connection
☞ Connect the 20 metres extension cable by making aloop in the cable and push it through the hole of thecable tensioner. Pull the loop and place it over theholder for the cable.
☞ Make sure that the electrical tension on the units cor- responds to the tension in your cable socket.☞ Connect the extension cable to the short cable of the unit.☞ Connect the plug to the socket of the mains.
1.4 Filling with cleaning solution
☞ Fill the tank eith clen water.☞ Add cleaning agent in the required quantity. ( Dilution
rates will be on the label of the cleaning agent )
Only use non-foaming cleaning agents that aresuggested for the cleaning of hard floors with autoscrubbers.
For damages caused to the vacuum motor by foam entering the manufacturer gives absolutely no warranty. In case of foam occuring in the tank and anti foam agent to the dirty water tank!
2. Operating
2.1 Scrubbing and vacuuming
Before cleaning, the surface must be swept.
☞ Lower the brush by turning the lever for brush relieve ( 6 ).
☞ Switch-on in following orderPumpe ( 2 ), Brush drive ( 2a ),Vacuum motor ( 2b ).
☞ Test drive! Check if the cleaningperformance is well. If neccessarychange the dilution of the cleaning
solution.
NOTICE!
During breaks always relieve the brush by lifting it with the lever to relieve the brush. Life expectancy of the brush will be increased.
For small and narrow places:
☞ Switch-off ( 2 ) the pump switch.☞ Manually add cleaning solution to the surface by
pulling the lever ( 1 ) on the right side of the pushbar.
2.2 Adding cleaning solution to the surface
☞ Turn lever to lift of squeegee ( 5 ) and work as mentio- ned in 2.1. After the solution is added on the entire sur- face lower the squeegee and vacuum the entire surface.
2.3 Monitoring
☞ To avoid damaging of the floor or the machine makesure that the brush never rotates in dry conditions.Alway make sure enough cleaning solution is addedto the cleaning proccess ( 1 ).Empty the full waste water tank by means of the dis-
charge hose (10). The vacuum motor may be de- stroyed if the waste water tank is over-filled and water
or foam enters the motor. When amptying the wastewater tank the machine must be switched-off.
2.4 Working with exteral tools
☞ Place machine with brush relieved( 6 ).
☞ Connect vacuum hose ( A ) tosocket on tank cover.
. ☞ Connect spraying hose ( B ) to the coupling at the backside of the unit.
☞ Turn lever ( C ) next to the coupling to the tool symbol ( vertical position ).
☞ Switch on spraying pump andvacuum motor.

2.5 After discharging the tank
☞ Make sure the cover of the discharge hose (10) is properly tightend.☞ When dirty, rinse sieve in the tank cover with clean water (otherwise suction power is reduced).☞ Check the rubber blades on the suction nozzle for dirt deposits (paper, cigarette ends, sand etc.) before refilling
machine and putting into operation again.
2.6 After operation
☞ Set machine parking lever (6).☞ Fill the clen water tank with some clean water. Switch on the switches for vacuuming, spraying and scrubbing and
leave the unit running until the clean water tank is empty. (This proceedure will rinse the vacuuming tubes, thespraying hose, the spraying jets and the brush).
☞ Drain the sirty water tank with the discharge hose.☞ Flush dirty water tank with clean water and train.
3 Care and maintenance
3.1 Important safety notes
Always disconnect mains plug/battery connection before working on machine!
Only carry out maintenance and repair work described in the operating instructions.Always leave servicing and repair work, especially the elimination of electrical faults to theciustomer service staff or to an authorised specialist.
3.2 Changing brush
☞ Tilt machine back onto the handle (only when the tanks are empty!).☞ Unsrew mounting screw ( a ) next to relieve lever.☞ Pull off bearing cover ( b ) in the direction of the arrow and remove together with the brush ( 8 ) towards rear.☞ Position new brush on bearing cover and push both parts together as far as possible.☞ Insert brush into suspension, making sure that both pins of the driver are guided into the holes
of the brush on the drive side.☞ Secure brush with securing screw ( a ).

☞ You will be expertly and quickly served.
This machine is not approved for use on public pathsand roads.
6. Servicing instructions
The following instructions must always beobserved
☞ When cleaning and servicing the machine, replacingparts or when changing over to a different function,switch off the drive and remove the plug.
☞ The power supply lead must not be damaged bydriving over it, crushing, tugging etc.
☞ Check the power supply lead regularly for signs ofdamage.
☞ The machine must not be used if the power supplylead is not in perfect condition.
☞ When using or replacing the power supply orequipment supply leads, use only those specified bythe manufacturer.
☞ When replacing the plug-and-socket connectors ofpower supply or equipment supply leads, splashprotection and mechanical strength must be assured.
☞ When transported in elevators, the applicable Userinstructions and safety regulations - note - inparticular capacity.
☞ Only the spray and cleaning agents suitable for themachine’s purpose may be used.
☞ Never use highly flammable, combustible, toxic,health-hazardous, corrosive or irritant substances.
☞ Repairs, including the fitting of spray agent lines andhoses, may only be carried out by approved customerservice shops or by specialists in this field who arefamiliar with all the relevant safety regulations.
7. Storage
If the machine is not to be used it should be stored in a dryroom which is always above 0° C.
Look for in storage absolutely sure: Set machine to brush pressure release lever (6). Rubber lips must not be flattened.
